We are looking for individuals that can maintain our service standards and be a team player.

Duties and Responsibilities required but not limited to:

1. Provides prompt and attentive service to customers and ensures that their individual needs are met.

2. Introduces daily specials and specialty drinks and answers customer questions about menu, wine list and pricing.

3. Suggests beverages, appetizers, desserts and coffee, etc.

4. Takes accurate and complete customer orders/repeat the order before leaving the table to insure that the order is proper.

5. Keeps accurate record of sales and is accountable for proper money and cash handling operations. You are responsible for your tables and the collection of all payment to be received including walkouts, this is mandatory.

6. Knowledge of POS computer system.

7. Assists with bussing and resetting of tables.

8. Help seat guests.

9. Ensures that bus station is properly stocked, clean and well-maintained. Communicates shortages of product to manager.

10. Communicates immediately with management regarding any customer problem or complaint.

11. Pays attention to customer and employee safety by helping to eliminate unsafe or hazardous conditions as they occur.

12. Cooperates with management by performing any other duties when asked to do so.

Rivoli Restaurant, Inc in Berkeley, California is seeking a full time host/hostess and reservationist. The job entails handling reservations and being the First Impression at both our restaurants, Rivoli and Corso, and then being Lead Host during service at Rivoli. This in one of the most important jobs in the company: the right person would be the face and voice of our company.

The position is for five shifts, 35-40 hours per week, Sunday through Thursday. The position includes health care, paid time off and dining benefits. Compensation is $15.59 to start, $22 after fully trained, $24 per hour when the candidate displays a thorough understanding of maximizing Opentable to drive revenue. We are open to hiring two part time hosts/hostesses, but part time positions would not include health insurance or vacation pay.

The host/reservationists day begins at 1:15 pm and concludes somewhere between 7:30 to 9:30 pm depending on the needs of the evening. Responsibilities during the day include handling all telephone, real and virtual mail as well as any other correspondence required. Other tasks are assigned to prepare both restaurants for service. Experience with waiting tables and other areas of service is a plus, but any good candidate must possess an intuitive sense of hospitality and a gracious attentiveness.

• OpenTable experience is required.

• Candidate must be able to handle two phone lines efficiently.

• Candidate must be able to multi-task, work effectively under pressure and maintain a friendly and positive demeanor at all times.

We're looking for fun, reliable Event Hosts/Facilitators to run cool team building events such as:

1.) Scavenger Hunts

2.) Guacamole Making Competitions


Events are similar to facilitating bar trivia! You must be able to run an activity like trivia and command the energy of the room and give clear instructions!

Events are typically 90min client facing with 45min setup and 30min breakdown for an average of ~3 hours. Lead facilitators will have have a pre-event phone call with clients and supply prep prior to the event estimated at 1.5 hours total.

Events run weekdays (M-F) ranging between 11am-8pm.

Location: Mostly downtown SF. Events can be at client offices, within museums, or in rented event space.


Initial paid training in event specific facilitation. Estimated at 1/2 day training + skills check where you demo event for our HQ staff.

Events paid at flat rate depending on your role. We have lead facilitators and co-hosts. Lead facilitators are paid $150 per event (~$35/hour) ; Co-host are paid $50 per event (~$20/hour).


PERSONALITY to own and successfully run events. You may running events solo or with a team.

MUST attend training and successfully pass skills demo where you demo the event for our HQ staff. Once you pass the demo, you're approved to run events either solo or paired with another facilitator(s).

Must have flexible daytime availability. We book corporate tours during the week M-F 11-8pm

Must be able to stand for ~3 hours, carry and manage supplies, and have a reliable smartphone with photo-taking abilities

This is a great position if you thrive with gig-type work
