Noodle Theory Moraga is hiring to fill two positions for kitchen staff. We are looking for someone to cover the morning shift and the night shift, 5 days a week Tuesday through Saturday. We are a small kitchen of only two people at a time. Kitchen staff has multiple roles as prep cook, line cook, and dishwasher. Kitchen receives tips as being part of the line of service.

We are a small business that specializes in handcrafted bath/body products. Founded in 2016, our business has grown quickly and our products are currently available in 1000+ retail locations (gift shops, hotels, spas, boutiques). We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Packaging/Production Assistant for the holiday season (now - Dec 2020), with potential to extend to a permanent role if performance meets expectations.
This role will include involvement in an assortment of tasks – making products, packaging products and/or shipping products. No prior experience required (training will be provided). Bonus if you have experience in any manual labor roles (e.g. bakeries/kitchens, production warehouses).
Our standard business days are M-F, but we also have holiday shifts available on Sat/Sun. Full-time or part-time candidates OK.

Gaumenkitzel Restaurant is seeking an all-rounder line and prep cook who loves to cook. To be successful in this role you are able to handle the kitchen’s fast-paced working environment, have solid experience with from scratch cooking, be familiar with food hygiene, be neat and tidy, have an excellent memory, and you are available to work evenings and weekends. Schedule is about 33 hours per week. Wednesday to Friday 2pm - 8:15pm and Weekends 11:45am - 8:15pm. Note: An on-site sauteing and pan frying test with unclarified butter will be requested.
Shift Lead Position - Full Time
About You: You are experienced working in restaurants and comfortable both with customer service and preparing food and drinks in an efficient, caring and confident manner. The thought of working for a small scale kitchen that focuses on healthy food and drink excites you. You understand the importance of doing the day-to-day work that’s required to support a thriving food service business. You enjoy working with others, are able to navigate a fast paced work environment, and naturally step up to fill in the gaps when needed. You are excited to take orders at the register, discuss menu items with customers, expedite drink and food orders, clean dishes, and maintain a clean, organized workspace and dining area.
Compensation: $19/hour plus tips. Health insurance included.
Hours: This position is 2:30pm-11pm, Friday-Tuesday
