  • High school education required. Hospitality or other degree a plus.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in restaurant industry.


  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 5 hours in length.

  • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift-up to 25 pounds.


This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Hours may be different every week and schedules are not set or guaranteed


  • Ability to consistently maintain a positive, friendly attitude no matter the emotional state of self or the guest. Ability to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the restaurant’s trading area.

  • Ability to operate a POS system and Open Table Software.

  • Be the face of Pacific Catch: introducing the menu, inviting the guests in and helping them navigate ordering, making sure orders are fulfilled quickly and hospitably. Know the ingredients, components of our food, beverage items, and know how to find this information.

  • Keep the host/hostess area clean and well organized, maintaining supplies, notifying manager when supplies are low. Stock toothpicks, to-go menus, and business cards.

  • Maintain excellent personal grooming and hygiene (i.e. hair, facial hair, fingernails, etc.), and wear appropriate professional attire, and slip-resistant shoes.

  • Complete assigned opening side work as described in Host Guide, and as directed by manager.

  • Understand all aspects of Open Table including taking and confirming reservations and entering details about guest to enhance their dining experience at Pacific Catch. Keep the reservation book/ Open Table up-to-date, note all required information when taking a reservation (e.g. special occasion, kids, covers, contact phone number, name, time)

  • Receive and process phone-in and takeout orders. Up-sell whenever possible.

  • Inform manager of special guest requests, large party reservations, guest complaints and special questions, and emergency situations.

Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in directing and organizing the activities of the Food & Beverage departments, including but not limited to the Kitchen, Premier Club Lounge, Banquet Operations, Restaurants, Room Service and Bars, to maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.

  • Assist with supervising, guiding, scheduling and training Food and Beverage employees.

  • Ensure that employees comply with tip-reporting requirements, uniform and service guidelines, and other policies and procedures.

  • Responsible for guest satisfaction in terms of food and beverage, hospitality, and service standards.

  • Ensure entire menu is available and hours of operation are strictly adhered to.

  • Monitor and inspect all food and beverage deliveries.

  • Ordering all inventory for front and back of the house.

  • Ensure portion controls are being adhered to.

  • Supervise and reconcile cash controls for each shift in attendance.

  • Responsible to assist in the development, implementation, and daily follow-up of property's Food and Beverage marketing plan and Sales promotion effort.

  • Meet or exceed unit's sales and profit objectives. Maintain food and liquor costs at or below budget percentages and controllable costs below budget.

  • Assist with monthly food and beverage inventories.

  • Build solid relationship with your colleagues.

  • Treat colleagues with respect and dignity.

  • Handle employee issues in a professional and timely manner with Human Resources.

  • Other duties as assigned by the General Manager and Restaurant Manager.

Qualifications and Skills:

The Restaurant Supervisor must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Thorough knowledge of Food and Beverage operations including foods, beverages, supervisory aspects, service techniques, and guest interaction.

  • Considerable skill in math and algebraic equations using percentages.

  • Ability to walk, stand, and/or bend continuously to perform essential job functions.

  • Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, with guests and employees, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger and to collect accurate information and to resolve problems.

  • Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.

Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system

The shift is from 4 pm to 1:30 am, 5 days a week. Must be able to work weekends and some holidays.

The preferred candidate for this role should have several years of professional baking experience including but not limited to dividing doughs, shaping baguettes, baking in a rack oven and a deck oven, scoring sourdoughs, and judging doneness of proofing and baking. This is a highly physical job and the baker must be able to stand and walk during the entirety of the shift and carry 50 pounds. Some packing of bread and pastries is also required and the best candidates should be hyper-organized. Special consideration will be given to applicants with experience milling flour, fluency in English and Spanish and a flexible schedule.

In addition to baking skills, we are in search of someone with keen inter-personal skills. This position is the liason to the am crew, the drivers, the bakers and the packers. They should be a clear communicator, able to manage conflict as it arises and make quick decisions.
