We are a parent and teacher not-for-profit school. We are looking for a part-time math specialist. This position may grow into a full-time position by Fall 2020 and has options over the summer as well. Salary depends on experience. We have a lovely elementary math circle, our students participate in math research, and our students range from elementary through college-level mathematics - we are a kindergarten through 12th grade. 

Ability to take on contest math team, mentor kids with their research, help guide our elementary math circle, robotics, computer science, and other programs is a plus. Online training and everything you need to teach our classes is provided, no certifications or teaching experience required.


If you know how to play chess, we can help you teach it! (No need to be an expert player)


Who are we looking for?


- People who are great with kids, first and foremost. Formal teaching experience is not required, nor is any kind of certification. Your enthusiasm for working with children is more important!


- People available for part time work on weekday afternoons. Classes meet once a week for an hour after school; start time is between 2 pm and 4 pm. You will need the ability to commit to 6-10 week sessions. Instructor positions are available Monday through Friday. Compensation is $40-$50 per one-hour class.


- People who are over 18 years of age.


- People who have a reliable means of transportation to class locations.


We provide all materials, on-line training, and an extensive curriculum which includes trophies, medals and belt challenges.


Just like the martial arts, you can help your students earn a master belt with our uniquely developed curriculum (geared towards grades K-6).
