ENR Top Rated Construction Management Company / PMCM Division is currently seeking an Owners Authorized Representative II / Construction Manager to join our Los Angeles, California office. Must have experienc managing projects for Educational Instituions or Public Agency This position entails the following duties listed below: Manages, oversees and coordinates all facets of the pre-construction, bid and award, construction and close-out phase of all assigned projects Reviews pre-construction documents and submits comments to Designer as necessary Plans, organizes, and prepares reports to upper management with respect to the status and/or progress of the projects Coordinates with all pertinent public agencies during pre-construction and construction to comply with all off-site work; coordinates with various District and Project staff Manages both the project budget and schedule to meet the District’s qualitative standards; monitors project budget on a monthly basis and ensures that the budget accurately reflects the project status/progress Manages daily activities of the contractor, reviews contractors’ construction schedules and submittals, and coordinates responses to the contractors’ inquiries thru the Requests for Clarifications (RFC) and other related documents Reviews substitution submittals from contractors to ensure specification and/or District requirements are complied with Receives, reviews, and negotiates Contractor Change Order Proposal(s) to achieve a fair & reasonable price in accordance with the General Conditions; reviews and addresses any and all Schedule impacts in accordance with the project specifications in a timely manner Reviews the process and monitors payments for the contractor, architects, engineers and any other pertinent parties Administers provisions of Professional Service Agreements between Architects and the District Coordinates District delivery of related fixtures, furniture and equipment Monitors and manages project close-out with respect to project certification with the Division of State Architects (DSA) and project financial close out Perform other related duties as assigned Requirements: 15 years full time paid professional experience in Project/Construction Management of Commercial and/or Public/Educational Facility Construction with full responsibility for coordinating complex projects with construction values in excess of $30M $50M (not cumulative) 5 Years’ experience in managing projects for an educational institution or public agency Additional Preferred Experience: Design Build Experience Experience utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) Experience with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified projects and/or the Collaborative for High Performing Schools (CHPS) Experience with Division of the State Architect (DSA) construction/design processes Safety and OSHA Safety Regulations (OSHA 30 minimum) Required Education: Graduation from a recognized college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management Possession of a valid Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential may be substituted for the required education Preferred Licenses and Certificates: A valid Certificate of Registration as an Architect by the California Architectural Board or Professional Engineer by the State Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors A valid Construction Manager (CCM) credential by the Construction Manager Certification Institute (CMCI)

Facilitates monitors and evaluates specific lifestyle and behavior changes that contribute to the improvement of health by providing group and individual counseling and instruction to health plan members and others.

Essential Functions:

  • Facilitates behavior/education change groups and/or individual consulting established within theory-based practice.

  • Identifies educational and behavior change needs of patients by assessing patient supplied data, medical records, and other health data.

  • Implements instructional objectives and counseling strategies based upon needs assessments.

  • Provides individual short term or long term counseling to promote or maintain behavior change.

  • Serves as a patient advocate in the coordination and delivery of services both within the organization and the community.

  • Tracks, evaluates and documents patient progress towards identified goals.

  • Provides in-services and training to staff members, as assigned.

  • Consults with medical professionals, psycho-social professionals, other educators and managers regarding patient care issues.

  • Prepares reports, grants, proposals and documentation, as assigned.

  • Provides input into the development and modification for program curriculum, support materials and activities.

  • NOTE:Must be able to work flexible hours, evening hours as required.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to assist in the design, implementation and evaluation of appropriate educational strategies related to patient diagnosis and treatment.

  • Knowledge of educational psychology, behavior change and adult learning theory, educational methodologies, and organizational behavior.

  • Experience facilitating groups.

  • Ability to establish rapport with patients and affect continued positive change relating to improved health and lifestyle.

  • Demonstrated ability to apply effective communication skills both in individual and group environments.

  • This includes demonstration of exceptional written and verbal skills.

  • Must be able to work in Labor/Management Partnership environment.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) QBS Level II required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in Health Education or Counseling preferred.

    • Expertise in weight management and certification in at least 1 fitness category.


  • Must successfully

have passed the bilingual test (within the last 12 months), or be active in the

QBS program.

Position Summary                                                                                                                     

The Retail Sales & Education Manager position is responsible for the implementation and management of all training programs, selling strategies, special events, and retail sales development activities for each of the regional brand ambassadors.


Essential Functions                                                                                                                  

  • With a creative and innovative approach, develop a product training program for Brand Ambassadors to execute in retailers.

  • Grow the brand’s awareness through education, marketing and merchandising.

  • Coach and assess product training effectiveness based on sales.

  • Coach retailer sales team and counter managers to effectively run their business.

  • Create promotions and incentives to drive sales per retailer.

  • Create and implement retail productivity scorecard with actionable solutions.

  • Recruit and onboard new Brand Ambassadors.

  • Send monthly reports providing feedback on sales activities, marketing, education, product launches and issues, promotions, merchandising, events and images.

  • Manages education for existing and new retailers.

  • Manage all Brand Ambassadors – monthly schedules, monthly event calendars, invoicing, sample request, special event support per retailer

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all retailers, as it pertains to trainings, education material, in-store events, and sample requests.

  • Build long-lasting customer relationships and provide outstanding customer service


Education & Experience Requirements                                                                             

  • 3 + years of direct selling and leadership experience. Ideally in wellness and/or beauty

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
