The California Conservatory of Music has provided Santa Clara and Redwood City with quality music education for over eight years! With locations in Santa Clara and Redwood City, we have grown to a community of over 600 dedicated students. We are searching for experienced Cello teachers with warm and caring personalities. 

Our fantastic office staff takes care of all administration, we supply the students with performance opportunities and practice challenges that keep them inspired, and we keep our teacher's schedules full!

Qualifications:

1) Bachelors of Music degree in performance, theory, composition or education.

2) Suzuki, ABRSM or RCM certification is preferred.

3) Teaching experience working with younger students.

The Rabbit Hole Children's Theater is seeking several teachers for the new year:

Dance Teacher:


  • Ballet, Musical Theater and Tap classes.

  • For ages 2 - 8

  • Must have dance experience and be great with children.

 

Theater and Music Teachers


  • Our classes are centered around dramatic play and the joy of make believe.

  • Monday - Friday

  • For Ages 2 - 10

  • Must have experience in a teaching setting

  • Experience in a Creative Preschool setting is a plus

  • Positive reinforcement classroom management skills required

 

Birthday Party Teachers:


  • We offer Magical Parties that include puppet shows, face-painting, crafts and more!

  • Saturdays & Sundays 9:00am - 5:00pm

  • Must be able to work at least one day every weekend

  • This is a great job for performers with high energy that are comfortable leading puppet shows, acting out different characters and leading theater games

Hummingbird Music School is hiring music teachers for group classes and private lessons. Piano, Rock Band, Ukulele, Guitar, and Vocal Classes are held at elementary and middle schools in San Carlos, Redwood City and Menlo Park, Monday-Friday between 1:00-4:00pm. Each class is 45 minutes weekly. Teacher to student ratio is ~1:8. Hummingbird Music School provides all equipment.

Private Lessons are scheduled primarily in the afternoons (between 3:00-8:00pm) at students' homes in San Carlos, Redwood City and Menlo Park. There is typically very little driving between lessons.

Job Title: Music Instructor (Drums)


Reports To: General Manager


Location: Issaquah, WA


The Music Instructor provides quality music instruction (guitar, bass, drums, vocals, and/or keyboards) through private lessons and shows for School of Rock. This role creates a safe and inspiring environment for students to achieve their musical and creative potential and insures that each School of Rock student has a positive, exceptional musical journey.


Roles and Responsibilities:



  • Teach students the fundamentals of music

  • Create and document thoughtful lesson plans

  • Communicate regularly with parents on progress of students after lessons

  • Interact with parents and students regularly by being visible and accessible in the school

  • Help with lessons when other teachers can’t make it

  • Responsible for the overall execution of the School of Rock program from rehearsals and concerts to the music lessons provided at the school


Skill Requirements:



  • 4 + years experience performing music professionally

  • 1 + year experience teaching music

  • Knowledge of music theory and curriculum design

  • Excellent ability to deal well with a wide range of customers and other people

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Very strong customer relations skills

  • Resourceful and good problem-solver

  • Works well under pressure

  • Ideal candidate is a former working musician who also has formal music school training

  • Ability to teach multiple instruments a plus

  • Enthusiastic, flexible, patient, and positive demeanor

  • Good judgment a must

School of Rock, San Ramon is looking for talented music instructors to help us grow our program and inspire the next set of killer musicians. We provide a fun atmosphere to work part time where you can watch kids light up when they hear The Rolling Stones or Fleetwood Mac for the first time.


We are hiring for Guitar, Bass, Keyboard, Drums, and Vocal Instructors and are especially interested in candidates who are multi-instrumentalists.


Must be ready to have fun with kids of all ages while teaching rock music from a wide variety of genres. Music degrees are not required, but all applicants should have a superior command of music theory, be advanced in technique, and have experience as a performing musician. Hours are flexible and part time with potential for growth. Must have reliable transportation and be dependable.


School of Rock is different than your average music school. Our goal is to inspire our kids to rock, both on stage, and in life. We want teachers who are the very best at what they do, and who love to inspire passion in kids.
