Applications are now open for our Fall internships! Our interns are talented and motivated folks who want to jump right into the bicycle action. We accept both student and practical experience internships, and request that interns make a minimum commitment of 10-to-20 hours per week for the fall semester. This season, we’re hiring for seven different positions:

Bicycle Advocacy Intern: Put on your advocate hat! Join our advocacy team to support our various street campaigns both inside City Hall and out on the streets.

Bike It Forward Intern: The Bike It Forward Intern will have an inside view of the SF Bicycle Coalition, a vibrant, growing nonprofit advocacy organization, and gain first-hand experience in community organizing and leadership development, as well as bicycle mechanics.

Development Intern: Can you fundraise and fun-raise? Help us keep the wheels of advocacy spinning on with our Development team!

Education Intern: The Bicycle Education Intern will gain firsthand experience in all aspects of bicycle education programming in one of the largest bicycle advocacy organizations in the country. The San Francisco Bicycle Coalition is the leading provider of bike safety education in San Francisco, and all of our classes are free and open to the public. 

Event Planning Intern: Do you have what it takes to put on some major events? Learn how to get involved and be a part of some of amazing event opportunities! 

Volunteer Coordination Intern: We rely on over 1,000 volunteers each year to push our work forward. Put your people management skills to work in collaborating with these amazing folks.

The Position

Claritas Rx has a Data Pipeline and Software Modules for ingesting, validating, mastering, analyzing, and reporting on complex healthcare data. The software transforms disparate data into actionable, meaningful insights for our customers. You will be a critical member of an engineering team that is building a unique healthcare software solution.
As a DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for the security, scalability and availability of the Claritas Rx AWS Cloud solution. As part of the operations team you will ensure the infrastructure is patched, correctly sized and appropriately monitored. You will also work closely with the Engineering team to recommend the best technologies for hosting the application, monitoring the stack and managing costs.
Responsibilities:

  • Support the Claritas Rx production data aggregation environment in AWS including patching, monitoring and alerting of systems

  • Architect and implement an analytics server environment running Jupyter Hub and Anaconda

  • Handle deployments, hotfixes to staging and production on a bi-monthly cadence

  • Support HIPAA and SOC2 Type 2 Audit activities

  • Support Dev system setup including app servers and databases

  • Automate system set up using Ansible

  • Manage SFTP and initial stack setup for Claritas Rx customers

Who You Are

Skills/Knowledge:


Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Cloud services (Saas) relational databases, Unix operating systems, log monitoring solutions, incident management processes

  • Prior hands-on experience with a broad array of infrastructure technologies, such as compute, database, storage

  • Prior experience in supporting large-scale applications which support multiple customers

  • Demonstrated focus on automation

  • Experience with configuration management systems (e.g. Ansible)

  • Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and team-oriented environment

JOB SUMMARY


Adomni is looking for a talented technical team member to be the serve as our advertising devops engineer. Your job will be to make sure that ad campaigns placed through the Adomni system execute successfully no matter what - and that means using (and building!) tools that let you see what is happening in real-time, detect anomalies, and taking steps to correct them. You will be at the intersection of business and technology, making sure that things work correctly where technology and money collide. This is functionally a specialized form of DevOps.

Director of Software Architecture


RESPONSIBILITIES



  1. Build and maintain monitoring systems and software for verifying successful delivery of advertising content across our network.


  2. Monitors currently running ad campaigns and takes steps to resolve any issues with successful delivery.


  3. Works with development teams to optimize delivery and budget consumption on campaigns.


  4. Build and maintain forecasting systems and software to prepare for future large campaigns.


  5. Build and maintain analysis systems and software to review completed campaigns for lessons learned.


  6. Coordinates with project management to schedule needed work on production systems into future sprints.


  7. Coordinates with sales teams to give a clear picture of upcoming availability and inventory.


  8. Ensuring that tasks and other key system information are documented and centralized in Asana (project management tool) and Confluence (documentation tool).



KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS



  1. Quick learner – can process new information quickly and remember key points.

  3. People-person with a team-centric attitude.


  4. Technical knowledge – you will be doing software development for internal use.


  5. Attention to detail – makes sure that campaigns are performing, and takes early adjustive action to keep that happening.

  7. Strong SQL background - you will be writing queries into our MariaDB database


  8. Strong NoSQL background - you may be writing queries into our realtime databases


  9. Experience with a language (probably scripting) for tool building. Typescript/Node is preferred but not required.


  10. AWS background - you should be very familiar with Cloudwatch and DynamoDB.


  11. Data visualization knowledge is a PLUS.


  12. Advertising background is a PLUS.


  13. Experience using Asana software for project management and Slack for instant messaging and basic files sharing is a PLUS.



EXPERIENCE



  1. 4-6+ years of relevant software development or operations work experience is a prerequisite.


  2. Past experience in a startup, software company or advertising company is a PLUS.
