  Readers/Evaluators Needed – No Experience Necessary – Paid Training   

Measurement Incorporated is seeking college graduates for the position of Reader/Evaluator. Our reader/evaluators score student responses to examination questions of various types. Paid training is provided.    We are currently recruiting for the 2020 scoring season (January through June). If you qualify as a reader/evaluator, you will be eligible to work on multiple projects. The individual projects involve evaluating student responses in various subject areas (reading, math, science, social studies, etc.) at various grade levels (elementary through college). Student responses will be evaluated based on project-specific criteria for content, organization, grammatical conventions, and/or the student’s ability to communicate and respond to a specific directive.     

POSITION REQUIREMENTS   

· A bachelor’s degree in any field from an accredited college or university 

· A successful interview and reference check 

· The ability to maintain strict confidentiality/security   

 

If invited to work on a scoring project, you will be required to provide proof of employment eligibility in order to complete a federal I-9 form before training starts.     

HOURS/SHIFTS   

Reader/evaluators are hired on a temporary basis by project. If hired, you will be expected to work five days per week, Monday through Friday, for the duration of the project. Both day and evening shifts are available. Attendance during training (usually the first few days of a project) is mandatory.     

 

PAY   

The starting pay is $11.70 per hour.

Summer Springboard is recruiting an innovative and dynamic individual to deliver a hands-on course in Journalism for our pre-college summer program for high school students. We have a curriculum, but there is room to create and challenge the high school students as they experience a journalist's process from idea development and reporting to editing and publishing. The program culminates in a project that the students create and present at the end of their session.

Who are we? Summer Springboard was founded to give college-bound teens a supportive environment to explore their academic passions. Our innovative pre-college summer programs, offered at some of the nation's leading colleges and universities, combine the benefits of an academically challenging summer experience with tools and frameworks for personal leadership development and self-discovery. Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor or Master Degree

An Epiphany Copy Director is a proven leader and an innovative, creative marketer with experience working on leading luxury brands in hospitality, food & beverage, wellness and real estate, as well as philanthropy. JOB PURPOSE:  


The Marketing Copywriter will work closely with the marketing, product and sales teams to write engaging copy for websites, advertising and collateral material in a B2B healthcare environment.  
 


ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES, TASKS:



  • Researches and writes effective product copy for company collateral, company web sites and customer offer e-mails 

  • Edits and proofreads copy for consistency and accuracy and in compliance with established formats.  Writes and coordinates all creative copy for special projects, such as whitepapers, direct, brochures, Internet banners and other corporate material.  

  • Product and Marketing to determine product presentation or promotional emphasis desired; coordinates with Designers to produce desired presentation, ensuring that copy is effective and will fit in overall space.   

  • Demonstrates a commitment to total quality and the process of continuous improvement, identifying and responding actively and with sensitivity to the needs of all customers and being open and responsive to change. 

  • Performs work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment that requires meeting time-sensitive deadlines for print publication and Internet transmission; requires a great deal of interaction and coordination with Marketing, Product Management, Sales and Executives .  

  • Handles day-to-day responsibilities with minimal supervision; needs to be organized and self-directed; prioritizes and completes standard tasks within deadlines without supervision


REQUIRED: KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES / EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION 


·       Three or more years of copywriting experience preferably in a Healthcare environment


·       Ability to self-edit for clarity, spelling, grammar and punctuation 


·       Strong attention to detail 


·       Ability to manage several projects at once and meet deadlines
