Job Requirements


· Complete employment application, consent to a background check & pre-employment drug screening


· Be able to discuss chiropractic intelligently with patients (job training provided)


· Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to each scheduled appointment

· Must have active and clear chiropractic license issued by the state of Florida, and provide credentials

· Proficient in various techniques including Gonstead, Thompson, Flexion—Distraction, Diversified and Activator or instrument-assisted adjusting


 


Job Description


· Perform exams, report of findings, and postural assessments


· Formulate diagnoses and create treatment plans within the standards of practice of the facility


· Execute treatment to include chiropractic manipulation and, if applicable, various modalities including heat, vibrocussor, e-stim, ultrasound, and cold laser.


· Occasionally participate in community events


· Participate in monthly staff meeting


Associate Work Schedule


Associate is expected to be present to see patients during these hours (some flexibility available). Additional hours may be offered on occasion for coverage work. Hours may expand as practice grows.


Mondays: 9:00am to 1:00pm


Wednesdays: 9:00am to 1:00pm


Fridays: 9:00am to 1:00pm


Pay scale


· Base pay is $23 - $28 based on experience


· Additional incentive pay based on total practice collections

Qualifications needed:



  • 4-year Bachelor's degree from accredited college

  • Valid DC license in applicable state

Our Flexologists will provide one-on-one assisted stretches as well as lead guided group stretching classes for our clients.

  • Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions to clients of all ages and all walks of life.

  • Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions.

  • Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele through sales and outreach to leads.

  • Managing client care by delivering a best-in-class stretching experience, updating client notes consistently, and booking clients' weekly recurring appointments.

  • Ensure the safety of clients in regards to proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules.

Required Qualifications:


  • Love of boutique fitness environment is a must – passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility 

  • Prior certification/degree required from a nationally-recognized organization/university in one of the following fields:
    o   Personal Trainer, Athletic Trainer, or Strength & Conditioning Coach
    o   Massage Therapist
    o   Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant
    o   Chiropractor
    o   Kinesiology/Sports Medicine/Corrective Exercises, etc.

  • A minimum of 1-year experience working in a fitness/health environment where you providing hands-on training with a client.

  • Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people.

  • Fantastic communication skills and the ability to exude empathy.

  • Must love connecting with people and have a passion for helping them achieve goals.

  • Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable, and adhere to our attendance policies.

MAJOR FUNCTION:


 


Under the general supervision of the Chief Medical Officer, provides chiropractic services defined within the scope of practice of a New Jersey Chiropractor. Perform functions in accordance with legal and judicial mandates; performs technical applications to meet state and federal standards and regulations; does related work as required.


 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


 


·        Is a member of the clinical team and works with the clinical team which may include a nurse, medical assistant and receptionist to manage the patient panel.


 


·        Actively participates in mandatory daily team huddles, this includes arriving to huddles on time.


 


·        Perform a series of manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system.


 


·        Evaluate the functioning of the neuromuscularskeletal system and the spine using systems of chiropractic diagnosis.


 


·        Diagnose health problems by reviewing patients' health and medical histories; questioning, observing and examining patients; and interpreting x-rays.


 


·        Panel of patients seeing on average 20-22 patients in an eight (8) hour day.


 


·        Advise patients about recommended courses of treatment.


 


·        Analyze x-rays in order to locate the sources of patients' difficulties and to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems.


 


·        Counsel patients about nutrition, exercise, sleeping habits, stress management, and other matters.


 


·        Consult with and refer patients to appropriate health practitioners when necessary.
Suggest and apply the use of supports such as straps, tapes, bandages, and braces if necessary.


 


 


·        When appropriate, determines the need for physician, sub-specialty, and/or emergency room consultation/evaluation.


 


·        Maintains complete and adequate medical charts, follow HJAHC procedures for documentation to ensure appropriate billing.


 


·        Greets all patients/clients/customers via telephone or directly in a personal and professional manner; promotes positive patient and community relations; acts as member of the health team.


 


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:


 


Participates in other assigned duties as designated by the Chief Medical Officer.


 


 


EDUCATION


 


Graduation from an accredited college with a chiropractic studies degree; is certified as a Chiropractor by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners; is licensed by the State of New Jersey as a Chiropractor.


 


 


PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB


 


·        Must hold current and valid certification from an accredited certifying body as noted above


 


·        Must hold current and valid NJ chiropractic license

We are seeking skilled Chiropractors who are committed to excellence and delivering the highest level of chiropractic care to work full-time or part-time. We are growing and want you to join our team!


We are open to local candidates and anyone who is interested in relocating to the Phoenix, AZ or Boise, ID area. We have clinics currently 8 clinics in the West Valley of AZ and are expanding into the Idaho market.


Minimum Requirements



  • Doctor of Chiropractor License for State of state you are applying in or ability to obtain license


  • Proficiency in the standard four diversified adjustments including: Supine Cervical, Prone Thoracic, supine (AP) thoracic and bilateral side posture


  • Cheerful, outgoing demeanor and enthusiastic approach to exceptional patient support


  • Maintain a professional appearance and appropriate attire


  • Ability to work some weekends as needed



Summary of Essential Job Functions



  • Provide consultations, exams, and treatment plans for chiropractic maintenance visits


  • Provide high quality care and advice to each and every patient


  • Ability to build relationships and educate patients on benefits of regular chiropractic wellness care


  • Enter chiropractic visits notes into electronic notes software


  • Utilize diversified adjustments and drop tables



Salary and Benefits



  • We pay $32-$35 an hour for part time or full time plus performance bonus


  • Compensation target is $75,000 - $80,000


  • Company paid malpractice insurance and other benefits

Wellness Chiropractor:


We are currently looking for a well-qualified chiropractor to work 2 to 5 days a week in our clinics at Downey and South Gate. We are looking for a very passionate, principle based chiropractor that is looking for structured growth, can see a high volume of patients, is driven for success, and is very outgoing. Salary is determined by experience. You will report to clinic management or Professional Corporation as required.
