Caviar for Companies is the full-service catering arm for Caviar. As a Catering Captain, you will be the front line of the operation, running white-glove and drop-off catering services hands-on with our corporate clients. You will make a great Captain if you have a go-getter attitude, a desire to learn and improve, and a customer service-oriented mindset. There are no prior skills or experience required – if you have the right attitude and capability to learn, we will provide all the training you need to succeed in this role!

  • Have an iPhone or Android phone.

  • Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. (Not a requirement in NYC.)

  • Own your own vehicle. (Not a requirement in NYC.)

About the Job

This is an early morning job, the delivery shift begins at 4:30am.

This is a part time (2 day per week) position, with the possibility for growth into a full-time position in the coming months.

As a Delivery Driver you will be responsible for making daily deliveries of pastries, coffee, and drink/food prep items from our commissary kitchen to our various cafes. You will expertly operate a refrigerated sprinter van. You must have an eye for detail in order to ensure proper fulfillment.

After delivery runs you will assist the commissary team in other capacities, such as dishwashing, food/drink preparation, and bakery prep.

What will I do?


  • Uphold the G&B Coffee/GGET "10 Principles of Service" as outlined in the company training documents.

  • Load delivery van for daily deliveries.

  • Drive the delivery van between company locations with an emphasis on efficiency safety.

  • Communicate with Cafe Team employees to ensure proper order fulfillment, request delivery confirmation from staff.

  • Unload and clean delivery vehicle after completion of delivery route.

  • Perform other deliveries, as directed under the direct supervision of the Lead Baker

Required skills, knowledge, and abilities


  • Must posses a valid CA driver's license and a clean driving record.

  • Excellent driving skills.

  • Must be able to work early morning hours.

  • Must be able to provide reliable transportation to/from work.

We are looking for a Delivery Driver/Cellar Technician to join our ever growing brewery team. This entry level position is a critical part of our company as they will both work on the production side every day and act as a face of the brand for outside sales.

Delivery Driver responsibilities

* Filling kegs and loading orders for daily deliveries

* Delivering beer to accounts in our self-distribution area in a safe and timely manner

* Keeping vehicles clean, tidy, and reporting any required maintenance immediately

* Account management: line cleaning/draft troubleshooting, maintaining positive rapport with customers

* Representing Iron Springs by pouring beer at festivals and events

Cellar Technician responsibilities

* Cleaning and sanitizing tanks, kegs, and brewery equipment

* Kegging beer from service tanks, assisting with canning/bottling runs

* Dry hopping, milling in, and assisting brewers as needed.

* Ensure all beers are pouring well, and troubleshoot draft system issues as they arise

* Large potential for growth and learning on the production side as the employee becomes more comfortable

Job Requirements

* Must be 21 years old, have a valid CA driver’s license, and clean driving record

* Capable of spending many hours each day on their feet

* Must be able to frequently manipulate and move 15.5 gallon kegs (165 pounds) with a hand truck – including lifting a short distance to load onto vehicles

* Excellent communication, both written and verbal

* Mechanical aptitude is a plus

Chauffeur Driven (a media outlet for the luxury transportation industry, chauffeurdriven.com) and Premier Products (a manufacturer of luxury bus, RV, and Van products and custom office chairs, premiercustomchairs.com and premierproducts.net) has an opening for a full-time Full Stack Front-End/Back-End Web Developer.


We’re looking for a person who is super passionate and can produce all the latest bells and whistles for our growing company.


You will work alongside our seasoned developer and designers, but will need to be able to think for yourself and jump into projects.


This position is all about maintaining our existing custom (7+) sites using Joomla, WordPress and other open source CMS.


But we also have an opportunity for fresh site development too. New projects are happening right now!


The ideal candidate should be:



  • A team player

  • Able to create, improve, utilize, and collaborate using style guides and user flows

  • Able to present your design ideas to members of the team.

  • Able to work with existing marketing material

  • Able to build new marketing designs using fundamental design principles
    • i.e. color theory, visual weight etc


  • Able to communicate with the design team about the evolving marketing industry

  • Able to incorporate changes in the marketing industry into your own work


Expected Prerequisites:



  • 3+ years of experience

  • Online portfolio with currently working samples
    • Will be reviewed in the interview


  • Website storyboarding, wireframing and prototyping experience
    • Bring one that goes with your working sample


  • Adobe design program experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

  • Ability to gather art from a pre-populated library

  • HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript experience

  • PHP, and MySQL experience

  • Wordpress, Joomla, and Ecommerce proficiency

  • Able to accept and improve from constructive and objective criticism.


Required:



  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 3-5 years’ job-related experience

  • Live samples of your work (5-links minimum)

  • In-house position only

Caviar for Companies is the full-service catering arm for Caviar. As a Catering Captain, you will be the front line of the operation, running white-glove and drop-off catering services hands-on with our corporate clients. You will make a great Captain if you have a go-getter attitude, a desire to learn and improve, and a customer service-oriented mindset. There are no prior skills or experience required – if you have the right attitude and capability to learn, we will provide all the training you need to succeed in this role!

A bit more about this role: While hours may vary, Captains typically work 3-5 hour shifts between 8:30am-3pm (though we do also occasionally have morning/evening shifts for breakfast/dinner). You must have a passion for providing outstanding customer service, or a desire to learn more about the hospitality industry. Many Caviar clients form such a strong bond with Captains that they specifically request their favorite Captains to serve their meals.

As a Captain, your responsibilities will include:


  • Pick up pre-scheduled healthy breakfasts, lunches and dinners from restaurants and deliver them to local companies.

  • Work with a team of Catering Captains to beautifully present meals that wow our clients.

  • Provide client feedback using our proprietary app.

  • Maintain professionalism while interacting with clients and restaurant partners.

  • Complete maintenance and operational tasks as assigned by the Hub Manager.

Requirements


  • Be 18 years old or older.

  • Be willing to obtain a food handler card.

  • Be available for at least two lunch shifts from Monday to Friday.

  • Have an iPhone or Android phone.

  • Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. (Not a requirement in NYC.)

  • Own your own vehicle. (Not a requirement in NYC.)
