Ria is looking for Cashiers for our store in  Reno, NV. The Cashiers must be fluent in Spanish and English and be able to work a daily flexible schedule, weekends and nights. The ideal candidate has prior experience providing excellent customer service and working in a fast-paced environment.




Duties and Responsibilities




  • Interact with customers face to face to receive and process all of Ria’s Financial products such as money transfers, check cashing, money orders and selling and buying foreign currency.


  • Accurately verify or enter the customer’s information in our proprietary system


  • Courteously assist customers with various inquiries such as processing transactions, questions about our products, cancellations and providing Ria agent locations


  • Identify problems, issues or complaints during queries and propose solutions to management


  • Keep up-to-date with Ria’s products, services and policies


  • Balance your cash register and prepare the bank deposit


  • Prepare the daily transaction record


  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested





  • Qualifications




    • Fluent in Spanish (English is desired but not necessary)


    • Able to work afternoons (until 8:00 pm), weekends and a daily flexible schedule


    • Minimum of three to six months of experience in customer service, or handling cash


    • Cash handling experience preferred


    • Basic knowledge of Excel, Word or other computer systems preferred







    Requirements Include:



    • Scheduling availability; ability to work weekends a must/requirement.


    • Bilingual desired, but not necessary Spanish/English (must read, write and speak Spanish)


    • Must have basic computer knowledge in MS Word and Excel.


    • Cash handling experience strongly preferred.  


    • Must have strong customer service skills and ability to sell and provide check cashing, bill payments and other related cash handling services. 



    • Must have authorization to work in the USA

Shift: Graveyard 9:30pm- 6:30am Monday- Wednesday


Boomtown is looking to hire an Attendant for the Chevron Mini Mart. This position is responsible for stocking the Mini Mart, cashier, janitorial duties, and cashiering. The successful candidate must the ability to use and maintain a cash drawer, operate a computer, oversee the store and gas pumps, and complete reports as required by management. Must be able to obtain/maintain a beverage card. Must be 21 or older.

FUNCTION:  The vault cashier is responsible for accurately counting and recording all incoming revenue.  The vault cashier is responsible for ensuring any funds leaving the vault are verified and recorded correctly. 


RESPONSIBILITIES: 




  • Process all fills, and credits requested in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.

  • Maintain revenue banks and logs.

  • Verify and accurately record all revenue of incoming banks.

  • Ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely and efficient manner and placed into the proper accounting envelopes.

  • Verify drop funds when appropriate.

  • Prepare special banks and verify prize monies as directed.

  • Fill kiosks when necessary.

  • Verify all monies coming into the vault

  • Knowledgeable of and consistently follow Nugget policies and procedures as well as appropriate local, state and federal regulations.

  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the Nugget team and guests.

  • Regular predictable attendance is required.

  • Perform work in a safe manner and always maintain a safe environment for fellow team members and guests alike.
