 NU Car Rental / Fast Track Rent A Car


Car Rental Company servicing International Airport and surrounding areas is looking for motivated professionals to join our team.


IMMEDIATE OPENING:  Full time preferred, but Part Time may be considered.  Varied work week may include day and evening shifts, weekends and holidays.


JOB DESCRIPTION:  Car Rental Service Agent is responsible for maintenance, care and cleanliness of rental fleet.  This will include cleaning vehicles, inspecting vehicles for damage or maintenance issues, and transporting vehicles to vendors as directed by management.  Service Agents may be called up to assist with transporting customers to and from the rental center.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, with a CLEAR DMV record; must be physically able to perform duties (may require sitting or standing for long periods, bending, reaching, climbing, lifting up to 45 pounds), work is performed outside in all types of weather.


JOB DUTIES, include but not limited to: 



  • Clean vehicles by hand, brush or operate washing equipment


  • Dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body by hand


  • Vacuum and clean interior


  • Perform deep cleaning on interior of vehicle, including shampoo and stain removal as needed


  • Perform vehicle inspection and note any damage or major cleaning issues


  • Check fluid levels (washer fluid, gas, oil, water, antifreeze, etc.) and fill as needed


  • Perform maintenance check of vehicles (antenna, under the hood, inside and outside of vehicle, trunk) 


  • Inspect vehicles and report any cosmetic or structural damage


  • Verify that vehicles are in possession of license plates, and registration stickers, etc.


  • Report any known safety or maintenance issues to management to ensure customer safety


  • Maintain inventory of supplies and notify management when supplies will need to be ordered


  • Maintain cleanliness of washing bay and secure equipment at the end of the day


  • May assist with transporting vehicles to vendors and assist with receipt of vehicle deliveries


  • Possess knowledge of vehicle safety practices, basic safety requirements for working around cleaning supplies and chemicals, as well as road rules and facility regulations


  • Assist Customers with Carrying/Lifting Luggage 


  • Transport Customers to and from Rental Car Center



SALARY:  $12.00 to $15.00 per hour

Job Description


A Carwash Equipment & Supply Company is seeking a Service Technician. The service technician is responsible for equipment maintenance, repair and installation of car wash equipment. This position works Monday - Friday 8-5 with over time as needed. Some Travel is required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for troubleshooting chemical, mechanical, and electronic equipment.


- Assists in the installation of new car wash equipment.


- Performs periodic scheduled maintenance and delivery chemicals to customers.


- Repairs and corrects malfunctions as necessary.


- Helps customers in relating information about operation, and maintenance of equipment.


- Must be involved in the problem-solving process regarding customer needs.


- Good communication skills. Interfaces with customers and appropriate related company personnel to ensure superior customer service.



QUALIFICATIONS


- Car wash repair and maintenance experience is preferred, but not required


- Must be able to obtain CDL driver’s license (Class C) and Hazmat endorsement. This can be done on company time and will be company funded. However, it must be completed successfully in order to hold the position.


- Must be physically fit enough to load and unload 500 pound drums with a Drum Dolly safely.


- Must be able to pass and keep up DOT physical and Random drug test every year.


- Ability to read and understand equipment manuals


- Excellent employee and customer relations skills


- Neat and clean in appearance

  • Using a consultative selling process to assist customers in recommending needed maintenance based on customer’s situation, vehicle age, mileage and history.

  • Prepares a complete and accurate estimate of pricing for labor and parts.

  • Enter repair orders into service database system; produce repair orders for customers with full transparency including cost and time estimates.

  • Communicate frequently with technicians to ensure timely completion of work.

  • Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle.

  • Gains superior product knowledge to effectively assist customers with service maintenance requirements and warranty information.

  • Processes customer payments for services; ensure proper balance of monies.

  • Maintain customer satisfaction score in accordance with company standards.

AAA Carolinas is seeking applicants for the position of Car Care General Service Technician. This position performs minor repairs and lube services to passenger vehicles.


Responsibilities Include:


  • Perform oil changes and lubrication services to automobiles

  • Perform tire repairs and installation services to automobiles

  • Perform any other minor repairs to automobiles as assigned by a Lead Tech or service writer, according to his/her abilities

  • Gain on the job experience in all areas of automotive repair and strive to obtain ASE Certifications. Which are paid for by AAA. When these certifications are gained team members are awarded bonus money.

  • Transporting members in company van to work or home

  • Picking up parts as needed

  • Assist upper level technicians as needed and for experience

  • Keeping service work area clean and safe

  • Various miscellaneous duties as assigned by Lead Tech or management

  • Assists other level technicians as requested

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Primary Functions:


The AAA Service Consultant must be customer service driven, willing to greet customers, answer telephones, set up appointments, order parts and communicate with technician and customers regarding vehicle maintenance.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Provide friendly and professional greeting to customers.

  • Setting, confirming and preparing for appointments with customers to expedite their service experience.

  • Determine automotive problems and service by listening to customer’s description of symptoms, clarifying description of problems, and examining service schedules.

  • Using a consultative selling process to assist customers in recommending needed maintenance based on customer’s situation, vehicle age, mileage and history.

  • Prepares a complete and accurate estimate of pricing for labor and parts.

  • Enter repair orders into service database system; produce repair orders for customers with full transparency including cost and time estimates.

  • Communicate frequently with technicians to ensure timely completion of work.

  • Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle.

  • Gains superior product knowledge to effectively assist customers with service maintenance requirements and warranty information.

  • Processes customer payments for services; ensure proper balance of monies.

  • Maintain customer satisfaction score in accordance with company standards.

  • Actively looks for member/customer needs across all business lines; introduces members to other departments.

  • Assist manager with inventory count and maintaining of efficient stock level.


WHO YOU ARE:
