We are looking for an experienced General Service Technician to service primarily Volkswagen, Audi, BMW & Porsche vehicles, as well as many other high-end lines. We are looking for a Technician who is motivated, self-sufficient, with solid skills. Will work on general services and repairs.


Job Duties include but not limited to:


Volkswagen, BMW, Porsche and Audi


Factory Scheduled Maintenance


General Services such as Oil Change, Tire Rotation, Fluid Flushes, Filter Change Etc.


Air Conditioning Service


Transmission Services


Brake Service


Perform Thorough Multi-Point Inspections to Advises Service Consultants of any Additional Repairs (not just the original complain)

MUST HAVES


*You must have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in the automotive industry


*Be able to visually inspect a vehicle and make proper recommendations.


*Valid and clean FL Driver's License.


*Valid Social Security and Documentation to Work in the US


*Must be able to lift, bend, and work with manual and power tools.


*Portray a genuine level of professional etiquette.


*Strong work ethic with punctuality, be able to work well both independently and as a team.


*Steady work history (All work references will be verified)


NICE TO HAVE


*European BMW, Audi, VW and/or Porsche experience would be nice but not necessary.


*ASE Certifications and/or Factory Training (But not Necessary, More Important is Outside the Box Thinking and Logic)


*Spanish Speaking A +++ (But not Necessary)


This is a FULL-TIME Position.


Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm


Work 1 Saturday 9am-2pm a month!

Purpose:


The Service Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. S/he also will oversee the work of any apprentice technician assigned to him/her.


Duties and Responsibilities:


· Receive repair orders from the manager/writer and take to the bay.


· Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.


· Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repairs.


· Communicate with the manager/writer to obtain needed parts.


· Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer.


· Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.


· Notify service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is not needed or required.


· Notify service advisor immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.


· Document all work performed.


· Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician, keeping in mind that the customer vehicle should not be used for personal errands.


· Supervise work of any apprentice technicians as assigned.


· Attend shop-sponsored training classes.


· Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.


· Ensure that customers' cars are kept clean.


· Keep shop area neat, clean, and be able to account for all dealership owned tools at all times.


· Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.


· Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to the manager or supervisor.


Qualifications:


· ASE training. a PLUS


· High school diploma or the equivalent.

We are looking to HIRE a skilled Auto Mechanic to maintain and repair vehicles. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximum reliability and functionality.


Responsibilities



  • Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately

  • Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade

  • Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity

  • Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use

  • Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)

  • Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job

  • Keep logs on work and issues

  • Maintain equipment and tools in good condition


Requirements



  • Proven experience as auto mechanic

  • Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles

  • Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods

  • Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift)

  • Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.

  • High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred


  • Valid certification (e.g ASE) is a definite plus

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of quality diagnostics and repairs and/or restorations on a variety of vehicles both foreign and domestic. We need someone who can work quickly and efficiently with minimal supervision. The job will involve everything from minor repairs and maintenance up to and including complete nut and bolt mechanical restorations on every system (engine, drive-train, steering, suspension, and electrical). We need someone with the skills, attention to detail, and organization to be able to handle every job assigned to them from start to finish. Job Duties will include:


- Diagnose, repair and overhaul engines, transmissions, electrical, fuel systems, and components, etc.


- Conduct safety inspections, test drives and make necessary adjustments to controls and systems.


- Diagnose and repair engine failures, mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replace the respective parts and components when needed.


- Perform routine maintenance including fluids changing, greasing of components, engine tune up, tire rotations, replacement of filters, and ensuring the reliability of vehicle braking systems.


- Acquiring estimates for replacement parts and services, and reporting these estimates to the shop supervisor for authorization.


- Record vehicle services and repairs on a given format and supply this information to the shop supervisor.


- Keep a clean and safe working environment for yourself and other employees.


 


Qualifications/Requirements:


3-4 years of diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical automotive systems.


Knowledge of Classic automobiles.

  • Directly responsible for the management and accuracy of a mobile inventory.

  • May work with processes that are unique or peculiar to customer needs.

Qualifications:



  • 2 or more years related experience is a plus

  • Electrician experience is a plus
