Skills we are most interested in:

Overview of the Role:

The Café Team Member is an engaging and courteous person who is passionate about food and serving customers. This individual will provide excellent customer service to Café guests while assisting with barista duties and maintaining a clean and well-stocked work space and dining area.   • Accommodating all the guests at service while circulating the room; responding politely to guest requests and anticipating their needs.

  • Collects service data for daily server reports.

  • Serves customers, handle customer relations, and assist other Lead servers as needed.

  • Expected to be fully knowledgeable about the menu and shares that knowledge with new servers.

  • Required to drive and maintain company vehicles.

  • Perform side work by helping to provide a safe and clean work environment.

  • Clean, organize and restock equipment/product returning from service.

  • Understand safety responsibilities as well as environmental laws by following established procedures, policies, training and involvement activities.

  • Perform other duties that could be assigned.

Requirements


  • Must be 21 or older (If Driving Company Vehicle)

  • At least 1 year of experience working with and handling food; working in a catering environment is a plus

  • Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record to be a driver (If Driving Company Vehicle)

  • Customer service experience

  • Ability to work solo or on a team

  • Organized and have an eye for detail

  • Reliable and on time

  • Able to lift 40 lbs

  • Must have a valid food handler card

  • Use an iPhone or Android phone with data

  • Work closely with our internal operations team

  • Knowledgeable about food ingredients and allergens preferred

  • Meet with chefs daily to review menus and ingredients

  • Maintain a safe and clean environment

  • Exercise creativity and attention to detail in setting up beautiful buffet arrangements
