Position: Event Sales Manager

The Event Sales Manager is responsible for maximizing event sales revenues to include banquet food, banquet beverage, facility rental and net amounts received for equipment rental. This is accomplished through networking, solicitations, grass roots sales and attaining or exceeding the annual budget revenue goals and booking goals for catering.

Job Description:


  • Under the direction of management, increase event sales revenue by following Lucky Strike's Sales Standards & Expectations, including: executing outbound sales call requirements to drive awareness, implementing lead generating strategies; identifying and pursuing target markets by monitoring venue and community demographics.

  • Manage event administrative requirements and logistics by developing and adhering to any contracts and confirmed agreements. Work with internal departments and outside vendors and following up to ensure that corporate standards of quality and service are met.

Job Summary:


Broadcast Management Group is looking for an experienced Production Technician/Utility to manage the company’s production equipment and serve as a Production Tech/Utility during production projects. Qualified candidates must have extensive experience working on live, multi-camera productions in both a flight pack and production truck environment. The Production Technician will be responsible for maintaining all existing production equipment, properly tagging and inventorying all production equipment, checking gear in / out for live productions and troubleshooting equipment in the field as needed. This position will be based in Washington, DC – splitting time between our office and our warehouse – but will travel to other cities for remote production projects. The Production Technician will be required to drive the company sprinter van to other cities for production projects within in a 20-hour drive of either the Washington DC or Las Vegas warehouses. The Production Tech will also be responsible for maintaining the company production vehicles, Qualified candidates must be comfortable working long production days, which may include weekends from time to time. Hands-on experience with live streaming is a plus. The Production Technician will be required to stay on top of the latest industry trends and learning new production technology.


 


Responsibilities:


· Maintain, service and troubleshoot existing production equipment


· Maintain the company’s existing inventory system and check gear in / out for remote productions


· Setup, test and QC all production equipment prior to remote productions


· Setup production equipment in the field during remote production projects, including, but not limited to, flight packs, cameras, comms systems, mics, lighting instruments, record decks, network servers, etc.


· Pack the company sprinter van prior to remote productions


· Perform general warehouse maintenance, including organizing all production equipment, keeping a proper inventory of expendables and collecting shipments when new equipment is ordered


· Prep and manage freight shipments to other BMG office locations as needed


· Maintain the company production vehicles


· Make recommendations on new equipment and conduct research on equipment prior to purchasing


· Assist with the creation of production diagrams, pull lists, camera plots, cabling plans, etc. leading up to remote production projects


· Provide support to BMG’s system integration division as needed

Broadcast Management Group (BMG) has an opening for a Broadcast Systems Design engineering position to support our Las Vegas, Nevada office. This position will report to BMG’s Vice President of Engineering. The Broadcast Systems Design engineer will be responsible for designing systems, maintaining and troubleshooting broadcast equipment, assisting with integration projects, and working on remote production assignments as needed. We are looking for a well-rounded Broadcast Systems engineer who can assist in the creation of engineering signal flow synoptic diagrams and rack elevations. A complete understanding of broadcast and IT network technology is essential. The ideal candidate will also be able to serve as an EIC on productions, both with FlyPacks and OB trucks. Working independently at a high level is a requirement. This position will assist the VP of Engineering with integration projects such as planned system upgrades, new facility design, equipment maintenance, and consult on future technical expansion for internal and external clients. This position will also support production staff as needed in studio and or remote productions.


 


Essential functions of the Broadcast Systems Engineer include, but are not limited to the following:

POSITION OVERVIEW


The Broadcast Traffic Coordinator traffics media from creative agency to vendors, with a focus on and expertise with media traffic within the television/movie/entertainment industry.


The Traffic Coordinator reports to the Operations Manager but must operate autonomously and exercise independent judgment in determining deadlines and priorities.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Create and Distribute Traffic logs for Multiple National & International Networks as well as many affiliate stations


  • Primary contact for assigned client or business – involves heavy client contact


  • Manages ISCI assignments and production schedules


  • Troubleshoots and problem solves for the client – picks up any inconsistencies and ensures they are resolved quickly and correctly


  • Has full knowledge of client’s business and maintains reference files for Traffic

Line Producer

Broadcast Management Group (BMG) is looking for a Line Producer to support the ongoing operation of a financial OTT network. This position will report to the network’s Executive Producer for instruction and guidance on the daily tasks required. The primary functions include Line Producing at least 2 daily live and/or live to tape shows along with producing any promotional elements for each show as assigned by the Executive Producer. This position will lead the creative and technical teams involved in producing each show, providing clear direction of the requirements for each program. The Line Producer will be responsible for monitoring the success of each show and making adjustments as necessary to insure the show’s success.


 


Responsibilities:


Primary responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:


• Experience producing live news broadcasts


• Producing two or more live and or live-to-tape daily (M-F) shows


• Managing and updating show rundowns


• Writing script copy


• Managing and tracking the insertion and updating of all video elements and graphics


• Supervising editorial, graphic and technical teams


• Managing the overall logistics of each show


• Producing promotional content for each show assigned


• Measure the success of each program based on pre-determined success metrics and make adjustments as needed to optimize the show’s success


 


Requirements:


• Must have experience using ENPS or a similar system


• Must have strong writing and producing skills


• Must have live production experience


• Must have experience working in a studio environment


• Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to effectively manage multiple projects and ability to take initiative


• 5+ years of relevant experience


 


Pluses:


• Experience with network launches


• Experience working in the financial services industry or producing finance-related content


• Knowledge of investing and trading stocks


 


• Knowledge of Adobe Premier editing software

General Position Summary
For this role, we are seeking a Media Supervisor with strong TV expertise. The ideal candidate has a proficiency in TV strategy and planning, has had previous experience managing large, complex TV plans, can put together a strong POV on the role of TV among other media channels and how it can be used as a device in driving overall client business goals. At Wieden+Kennedy the Media Supervisor is a key player within both the media team and the assigned cross functional brand account group(s). Potential duties reflect the full scope of comms/media planning/buying across all media channels including:

  • Develop GTM media strategies and plans that drive business results for our clients,

WSTM/WSTQ/WTVH in Syracuse, NY is looking for interns in our News department for the 2020 spring semester. Qualified candidates will have completed or be in their junior or senior year of college. Yorktel is currently seeking a Broadcast Graphic Artist II who will assist the client in designing complex graphics for agency videos and public service announcements as well as assist in the development of scripts and storyboards for public and agency videos.


Required Experience:

The Broadcast Graphic Artist shall have experience using the following applications and methods:


  • Adobe Creative Cloud – contractor personnel shall be able to proficiently use the software applications included in the most current version of Adobe Creative Cloud as long as it exists, including, but not limited to, After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, and Photoshop in support of video and audio editing, animation, and other multimedia presentations;

  • Microsoft Office Suite – contractor personnel shall be able to use the software applications included in the most current version of Microsoft Office Suite;

  • Conversions – contractor personnel shall have an understanding of various video and graphic formats and be able to convert them into usable file types suitable for both postproduction and delivery.

  • 3D Software - Knowledge of 3D software such as 3D Studio Max, Maya, or Zbrush is not required but preferred


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Create highly-engaging complex motion graphics for a diverse array of media, including smartphones, tablets, television, and the web;

  • Create videos and backgrounds to be used for green-screen, camera shots, and graphics for video production;

  • Create images depicting objects in motion or illustrating a process, using computer animation or modeling programs;

  • Make objects or characters appear life-like by manipulating light, color, texture, shadow, and transparency;

  • Apply story development, directing, cinematography, and editing to animation to create storyboards that show the flow of the animation and map-out key scenes and characters;

  • Script, plan, and create animated narrative sequences under tight deadlines, using computer software and hand-drawing techniques;

  • Assist with various multi-media design projects including developing briefings, multimedia presentations, web pages, promotional products, technical illustrations, and computer artwork for use in products, technical manuals, and slide shows;

  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of the most current and emerging video editing and animation software, techniques, and technologies;

  • Maintain a professional approach and demeanor at all times, including interaction with crew, talent, and SSA executives, and other guests.


Skills and Additional Qualifications:

The Broascast Graphic Artist II shall meet one of the following minimum requirements:


  • Have 5 years’ experience in motion graphics, animation, or digital design

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in a motion graphics/animation-related field plus 1 years’ experience creating motion graphics and rendering video
