Person needed to perform duties in the area of news production; audio board operations, audio set up, studio set-up, and other video production associated duties.  Must be able to follow instructions of the producer/director to operate camera as necessary to obtain desired shots and audio mixes; suggest desirable shots to producer/director. Will operate teleprompter system as needed; assist in lighting; studio lighting experience using light meter necessary.  

This individual will assist in the set-up and tear-down of equipment; sweep, clean, and pick up trash from studio scene, and work areas as required.  The individual must have good written and verbal communication skills; be able to work first, second, and third shift as needed, and have good, quick decision-making abilities. An additional work component may require operation of a vest managed steadicam; a 40 pound weight minimum is a consideration for this role - Must be able to lift, carry, and move with a minimum of 40lbs in many environments including outdoors and in extreme weather conditions.

Duties:



  • Handle the installation, maintenance and legal operation of all audio, electronic and broadcast transmitting equipment necessary for the stations to function

RCN is looking for an intermediate to experienced Broadcast Technician to support our rapid expansion.


The Broadcast Technician will work in our Satellite Network Operations Center (NOC) in a fast-paced 24x7 environment in Las Vegas, NV. Candidate will operate, monitor, and troubleshoot multiple terrestrial fiber and satellite transmissions, manage the same through a variety of control systems and generate reports of all issues through a Trouble Ticket system and/or Shift Log. This position requires experience operating satellite uplink and downlink systems as well as video compression systems within a live broadcast environment.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


· Configure uplink and access satellite via remote uplink systems based on a daily timed schedule of events
· Define and configure video compression hardware operating parameters

The Role:


The part-time eCommerce Manager is a key member of the TBN team providing operational support and oversight of our current and future online storefronts. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the eCommerce Manager will ensure continuous improvement to deliver the best possible retail product strategy, sales and promotional events, inventory management, and sales conversions.


We’re looking for that unique person, someone who is highly analytical, entrepreneurial, caring by nature, friendly, a creative problem-solver, works well independently and is able to multitask. A background in inventory management, eCommerce operations, and/or promotional products industry is highly desirable.


Key Responsibilities:



  1. Support product development strategies for one or more brands

  2. Understand the supply chain for each product, sourcing, forecasting and lead times

  3. Monitor excess inventory and unfillable inventory; review sell through of products and adjust strategy as required

  4. Work cross-functionally with Brand teams to determine and confirm goals and priorities, and obtain necessary approvals

  5. Develop and evaluate promotional and sales plans for storefronts. Review store KPIs on a regular basis.

  6. Critical thinking - whether simple or complex, develop clear solutions to unique problems

  7. Participate in ongoing training so that you grow and develop as a professional

  8. Manage a flexible schedule and work-environment - be accountable

  9. Support Customer Service efforts by answering customer calls, replying to emails, online chats and questions on social channels

  10. Partner with Marketing and Design team to identify asset needs and make needed updates

  11. Manage and schedule store and product promotions based on demand and

  12. Think quick on your feet to customize creative solutions to issues

  13. Take on additional responsibilities and training to continuously improve the business operations


Additional Detail:



  1. Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

  2. Experience growing an online sales channel with clear revenue targets; minimum 3 years experience in inventory management required (eCommerce, Big Commerce preferred) and/or retail product development

  3. 1-2+ years in a customer service related role is preferred (i.e. apparel, accessories, eCommerce, etc...).

  4. Stellar written and verbal communication skills – skillful on the phone and composing emails

  5. Experience with accounting basics and financial impact of inventory

  6. Demonstrate positive approach toward co-workers, customers and potential customers
