Job Title Description:


Part time behavior therapist position to serve families in Hollywood and some parts of the San Fernando Valley (Sylmar, Canoga Park, Pasadena).


Responsibilities:
• Measurement and recording of behaviors targeted for reduction and skill taught during 1:1 sessions
• Direct Implementation of all teaching program procedures and behavior analytic strategies per behavior intervention plan
• Implementation of safety protocols
• On going communication with the clinical team
• Collaboration with other behavior technicians
• Consistent attendance to scheduled sessions and group training
• Compliance with company policies with regards to professionalism and ethical conduct as presented during initial training


Qualifications and Skills:
• Exposure to interaction with special needs children.
• Play skills with children.
• Exposure and confidence in managing aggressive and self injurious behaviors
• Therapeutic approach in caring for clients and their families

PBS is currently seeking eager, energetic and passionate Behavioral Therapists to join the Prism team. The Behavioral Therapist must be available in the morning/afternoon or afternoon/evening sessions during our peak service hours. We provide paid training to our behavioral therapists to implement 1:1 behavioral intervention programs to children in their homes, schools, and community settings. Job Responsibilities:

Behavioral Therapists will provide one-on-one ABA-Based treatment to children who have been diagnosed with Autism and other developmental disorders. You will be following a structured teaching plan to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors. We provide comprehensive initial and ongoing training and support and offer ongoing opportunities for advancement.

Job Responsibilities:
•Implement programs based on ABA principles that increase communications, self-help and play skills
•Manage inappropriate behaviors

**Currently seeking candidates for Part Time Position with possibility to move to full time (mainly afternoon from 3 pm and evening hours)


Beautiful Minds Center’s purpose is to provide a comprehensive and culturally competent program centered on the treatment and benefit of children with autism and related disorders. The program instituted at Beautiful Minds is unique in that it is progressive and incorporates innovative behavioral and teaching techniques, which are scientifically validated by current research.

Behavioral Therapists will provide one-on-one ABA-Based treatment to children who have been diagnosed with Autism and other developmental disorders. You will be following a structured teaching plan to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors. We provide comprehensive initial and ongoing training and support and offer ongoing opportunities for advancement.

Job Responsibilities:
•Implement programs based on ABA principles that increase communications, self-help and play skills
•Manage inappropriate behaviors
•Keep children motivated to learn
•Provide intervention in home and community settings
•Participate in training's
•Complete clinical and administrative tasks (data recording, session progress notes etc.)
•Communicate confidentially and professionally with behavior analysts, supervisors, families and company principals

Qualifications:
•BA/BS in Psychology, Education, or related fields
•At least 1 year experience working with children with Autism and other developmental disabilities
•Experience and knowledge of basic ABA principles and methods
•Passion and enthusiasm for working with children
•Previous work experience with children

Requirements:
•Must have reliable transportation and proof of insurance
•Must be willing to drive to clients homes and/or schools
•Must pass TB and fingerprint clearance
•Must have good references
Hours: Part Time Position with possibility to move to full time (mainly afternoon ( from 3 pm ) and evening hours)

Salary ranges from $16.00 to $23.00 an hour depending on experience.
