Responsibilities:



  • Work with children in their homes, helping them learn how to communicate, play and learn!

  • Learn directly from Board Certified Behavior Analysts how to provide therapy to children and family in need of support

  • Visit our client’s homes where you’ll follow and use the plans from Board Certified Behavior Analysts will create and supervise behavior intervention plans

  • Teach communication skills, social skills, self-help skills, and play skills through Applied Behavior Analysis principles

  • Teach, learn and play with our clients to help them reach their highest potential

  • Accurately record treatment data

  • Engage in and ensure client safety

  • Maintain confidentiality of all clients and professional conduct at all times


Qualifications:



  • You must have your BA/BS completed in Psychology, Special Education, Communicative Disorders, or a related field and 1 year of exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder. If your BA/BS is in progress 5 years of exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder is required. Another option is HS/AA with 2 years of college course completed and 5 years of exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder. (Exposure can be personal or professional)

  • Exposure to individuals with Autism through family, friends, or work experience is a plus!


  • Your availability can be any of the options below!

    1. Mon-Fri: 8:00am-6:00pm -Option A

    2. Mon-Fri: 11:00am-8:30pm- Option B

    3. 4 weekdays: 3:00pm-8:30pm – Option C

Behavioral Therapists will provide one-on-one ABA-Based treatment to children who have been diagnosed with Autism and other developmental disorders. Direct Interventionist / One-to-One Interventionist One-to-One services are provided by staff trained in basic behavior analytic principles and preferably someone with a bachelor's degree in the studies of Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education or other related fields. One-to-One services are provided to the consumer to address skill deficits and behavioral excesses using a variety of behavior analytic strategies.
