We are looking for a Bootcamp instructor to teach our Small Group Training Classes in-person at our facility on weekend and weekday mornings.

We also have a successful personal training program and are always looking for Instructors who can also take on Personal Training clients.

Requirements


  • Be confident and able to teach an exercise class or personal training session. Instruct class to the ability level of the students participating, safely challenge the students and offer cues and modifications for those working with injuries. Continually monitor students throughout class/session

  • Personally greet and encourage new members and help to orient them to the class and gym

  • Be friendly, professional and passionate about working with Rise members and students and helping them meet their fitness goals

  • Is mindful of the Rise member’s time and start and end each class and/or private session on time

  • Must help to keep the studio clean and the equipment/props in good working condition

- A Rise Group Fitness Instructor is part of a close-knit team that supports each other and shares knowledge. Participation in  meetings, active communication and helping each other out with subs is essential and required

Qualifications and Education Requirements:


  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Be punctual, always on time and end on time, excellent at time management

  • Personable and friendly

  • Knowledge of anatomical & bio-mechanical exercise principles, and the ability to apply this knowledge in your instruction

  • Ability to effectively demonstrate all skills and exercises being taught to members

  • Knowledge of fitness and safe/corrective exercise techniques

  • Knowledge of Group Exercise, HIIT, kickboxing, circuit training, strength training or Tabata

  • 1-2 years Group Fitness or Personal Training experience preferred

  • Training or certification in Personal Training or Group Fitness, such as NASM or ACE, certification can be in process

  • Insurance Certificate must be provided to Rise prior to teaching, and must be provided each year after renewal

The Street Soccer USA Site Manager - San Francisco (“SM”) is responsible for coaching and managing the execution and growth of SSUSA’s sport for social change programming in San Francisco, California.  

 

Street Soccer USA uses the power of soccer to help people of all ages and backgrounds discover their strengths and take positive steps forward in their lives. Our unique curriculum connects soccer skills to life skills, giving our players the tools they need to unlock the promise in themselves. By hosting community-based events, connecting with community partners, and showing up for practices and games, we create the space for our players to cultivate trusting relationships and develop the confidence to succeed.



Coaching:


  • In charge of coaching at designated neighborhood program sites 4-5 days a week, including some weekends and evenings. (50% of the role will be coaching but hours can be flexible depending on program and game times)

Programming & Partnerships & Events:


  • Support in the recruiting, hiring and managing processes of SSUSA Support Coaches

  • Support with new program partner outreach and communication 

  • Focus on developing and overseeing high impact program types - Community Club & Homeless World Cup - setting and achieving engagement and impact metrics

  • Support SSUSA Club Affiliate Partners to optimize impact in the community

  • Support SSUSA SF Street League - available to be onsite one day per weekend while programs are running  to check in with coaches, parents and the community needs.

  • Support with design and delivery of culture-building program events such as SSUSA Street League Competitions & Street Soccer Festival Events to celebrate accomplishment of SSUSA Participants & their families

  • Support with the production and logistics for SSUSA Bay Area Cup, once per year 

Social Services/Monitoring & Evaluation:


  • Support coordination of SSUSA Social Services (Off-the-Field Curriculum, Exposure Outings, Homework Help, Job Skills Training, Parental Engagement, Referrals)

  • Ensure maintenance and documentation of all participant records, including electronic entry into Salesforce Database, ensuring all participant records are complete, accurate and up to date  

Communications:


  • Work with SF PM to submit newsletter stories when requested

  • Submit program highlights and event write-ups to SSUSA Leadership Team for internal and external communications 

  • GED or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience at a non profit or in fundraising, management, public administration, public health, community development preferred.

  • Strong management skills including managing complex, multifaceted programs resulting in measurable successes and growth.

  • Ability to work with diverse individuals and groups on complex community issues.

  • Excellent judgment and creative problem solving skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to and passion for Street Soccer USA’s mission.

  • Enthusiasm for and preferably experience playing/coaching soccer.

Our schedule has a mix of strictly CLASSICAL classes as well as CONTEMPORARY classes, so we meet all of our client's wants and needs!

We are a music-driven studio that is catering to the counter-culture. We are a space with no intimidation inviting anyone and everyone to give Pilates a try - and then stay because they love it! We’re trying to take any negative assumptions about what Pilates is and who Pilates is for and throw that out the window.

You must be nationally certified, carry professional and liability insurance, and have public and private training/class instruction experience on both equipment and mat. Must be able to train special populations. Love and appreciation for punk, rock, metal, and counter-culture will be appreciated!

Currently looking for availability that includes weekends. Will start with Private 1:1 Sessions and Duos and as we reopen in time, classes will be added to the schedule.

 We are Super Sports Stars, the premier children’s sports organization in the nation. We are seeking FUN, energetic, early-childhood teachers and coaches to join our Soccer and/or Multi-Sports program! All training and equipment provided.

SOCCER STARS incorporates a fun, educational curriculum that teaches soccer fundamentals to all skill levels.

AMAZING ATHLETES is the premier, sports-based enrichment and P.E program in the country and teaches nutrition, muscle identification 10+ sport activities, including motor development skills.

Coaches will be provided with necessary Personal Protective Equipment and Training to safely run classes with COVID-19 restrictions put in place.

Schedule:

We are seeking a weekend coach to be available to teach sports classes for our weekday afternoon sessions (2-6pm) *morning (9-12pm) and weekend options also available. Classes range from 30-45 minutes (plus 15 minutes setup/breakdown.) You will teach the basic fundamentals of 10 different sports following each week's Amazing Athletes or Soccer Stars curricula.

Salary:

Coaches can earn up to $40 per 45min-60min session.

Day-to-day Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Assist/Teach an energetic and motivating class, connect and challenge each child, and help them to accomplish motor development goals and inspire a love of movement and healthy habits in an organized, structured, and fun manner.

  • Provide individual and group attention to children.

  • Show up on time to class, physically and mentally prepared (includes commuting time).

Requirements


  • Able and willing to travel to get to class locations

  • Prior experience working with children preferred. Experience working with Pre-School Age Children (preschool teachers, camp counselor, elementary education substitute teacher, coach, etc.)

  • Background in fitness (any: athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, exercise science, kinesiology, physical education, etc.) preferred.

  • Must be fun, energetic, patient, and attentive

This is a part-time, on-call position with varying seasonal, flexible, scheduled work hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. 

ALREADY LIFEGUARD CERTIFIED? $250 SIGNING BONUS AVAILABLE!  

 Under supervision, this position: 

§ enforces water safety rules; 

§ provides lifeguard protection by observing the pool at all times; 

§ conducts operational checks of pools, including chemical checks every two hours, cleaning skimmers, regularly scheduled pool cleaning;

§ is responsible for proper care of pool equipment and furnishings; 

§ maintain current Red Cross certifications in Lifesaving, First Aid, CPR and AED 

To be considered, you must: 

§ have strong swimming skills; 

§ have current American Red Cross lifeguard certification; § have good communications skills; 

§ be a true team player and have the ability to interact appropriately with senior residents, visitors, and guests. 

§ Applicable school district guidelines for students in high school strictly adhered to; must have a valid school work permit if under the age of 18.  

 · Clean and valid California driver license and satisfactory driving record are conditions of initial and continued employment;
