Swim Instruction for children (ages 6 months +) and adults. Responsible for groups of up to 4 to 6 swimmers at a time or private 1:1 lessons. Swim instructors that have been certified as Water Safety Instructors and who currently hold Lifeguarding and CPR for the Professional Rescuer certifications will be considered for employment first. Applicants with past swim team experience are also great candidates. Swim Instructors will be trained to teach with our methodologies after hired for employment. Applicants educated in child development, psychology and lifesaving skills are highly encouraged to apply.

Lifeguards must have Lifeguarding and CPR for the Professional Rescuer Certifications to be considered for any Lifeguarding jobs. Lifeguarding shifts are assigned as they come in and can vary from 2-5 hour shifts. (paid for a minimum of 2 hours)

Seahorse Swim School is hiring motivated, energetic and reliable Swim Instructors and Lifeguards for Spring, Summer and Fall swim programs. We teach all ages, levels and abilities to swim aged 6 months and up. Applicants that are hired in Spring are expected to be available for work in the Summer and Fall to maintain consistency in instructors from March to October. (You must be able to work in the Summer too).

Hours avail to teach: Tues/Thurs 2-6pm and Saturdays 9 -1 (sometimes 2) pm at Aptos location. Lifeguarding jobs are available with us throughout the County in the Spring, Summer and early Fall and are at private locations that are mostly Sat and Sun from 2-5pm. Jobs are assigned as they come up. Travel stipends are paid to travel to each location as well and you will be paid a minimum of 2 hours for any guarding job.

Pay starts at $14/hr while training, goes up to $15/hr once you are able to take on your own classes, and then is increased based on job performance, reliability and consistency. Those with experience teaching, come with good/great references and also hold a current LGT cert, will start at $15/hr (or more) as we would assume you would take on your own classes sooner and would be raised based on job performance, reliability and consistency.

Salary: $14.00 to $18.00 /hour

The primary responsibility will be for the Varsity team. However, the Head Coach also oversees the Junior Varsity coaching staff and the overall program. The spring Volleyball season is currently scheduled to begin on December 14, 2020 with a possible duration od six months.  

Coaches at Marin Catholic have the primary responsibility of promoting the school's Catholic mission, helping students achieve a high level of skill, and fostering an appreciation for the values of discipline, teamwork and sportsmanship.

Qualifications, Expectations, Experience and Skills for the position:

-Previous coaching experience, preferably at the high school level or higher

-Sound and effective communication with student-athletes and parents

-Strong management and organizational sckills

-Ability to collaborate and cooperate with faculty, staff and administration

-Commitment to creating a positive individual and team experience

-Advanced knowledge of the rules, skills and techniques/strategies of soccer

-Ability to teach, enforce, advocate and model Christian and educational values to student-athletes

-Practicing Catholic in good standing, preferred

HP Baseball is looking for experienced coaches for our youth and showcase teams. These positions are part-time and are a great way to stay in the game of baseball. Currently, we have several teams from ages 8 - 18.


 


Experience required:


Strong baseball resume


2 years of coaching experience


general knowledge of travel ball tournaments and/or Showcase tournaments


Ability to be a positive vocal leader with strong communication skills.


Desire to be a strong role model and develop ball players in a positive fashion on and off the field.


Bonus:


Coaches also have the ability to make commission on private lessons at Hunter Pence Baseball Academy. We also occasionally have camp's, clinic's and tryouts where we can create more opportunity.

Thunder Baseball is an independent travel baseball team located in Hendersonville. We are seeking a patient, experienced coach for our 14U team. Our team philosophy is based on growing individual skills, building team comradery, and providing an extremely challenging, yet rewarding environment. One notable highlight about Thunder is that coaching staff does NOT have a child on the team. This ensures each player will be treated equally.


Expectation:


1) Practices will be held twice a week, we have a facility for indoor practice through the winter


2) Team equipment will be provided: balls, nets, L-screen, etc.
