This fresh and fun concept comes to Evanston by way of it's smaller version in Winnetka. Job Qualifications

Job Expectations

  • Reports to scheduled shift on time and in full, proper uniform as outlined by the FFT employee handbook

  • Assumes bar set up duties as delegated by the GM

  • Sets up service bar tables according to FFT standards ensuring that correct stemware and glassware is properly cleaned and stacked, linens are correctly laid, bar equipment is cleaned and working and ice is correctly stored

  • Maintains appearance and efficiency of the bar according to FFT standards while tending bar during scheduled shift

  • Evaluates guests as to ensure that no State and Local Dram shop laws are being violated as it relates to ages and over consumption

  • Serves beverages requested by guests in accordance to standard recipes, specialty recipes and special requests. All drinks are well-poured and presented in accordance to State and Local regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages

  • Maintains and develops relationships with clients, guests, and staff during events by using their names whenever possible and anticipating their needs

  • Assists in completion of liquor inventory sheet at the end of every shift by reporting individual inventory to the GM

  • Receiving and unloading trucks, requiring the lifting of boxes, ice, liquor and other supplies

  • Other duties as assigned ​

  • Maintain all Catering service standards and professional expectations

  • Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen

  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc.

  • Set up for service and break down a variety of different campus events

  • Prepare and/or serve beverages upon request and standard practice

All positions are part-time casual (19 hours per week or more), non-benefits eligible.

Training is offered as well as possibility for advancement within our organization. Hours vary anywhere from 18-40 per week, depending on events.  Actual hours will vary depending on business needs and may include working other events depending on need and candidate availability, includes various hours and weekend work.

Starting wage is $12.50 -18.00 per hour based on experience.
