Server Requirements: Must have at least two years restaurant experience. You should be able to learn about ingredients, wine and spirits and speak confidently to guests on these topics. You have a positive attitude and work with a sense of urgency.  You should generally have weekend availability and can work 3-5 shifts/week. Schedule is flexible. Bartender Requirements: Must have previous experience. You are able to multi-task, both providing seamless service to guests dining at the bar as well as crafting consistent and beautiful cocktails. The Ice Cream Bar is a full service 1930's style soda fountain. Everything we serve is made in-house: the ice cream, the bread we bake for our sandwiches, as well as the sodas and cocktails at our vintage soda fountain/bar.

 

Must be available regularly 1-2 weekend shifts, and a total of 3 or more shifts per week.

Shift times are 11:15am-5:15pm and 5pm-10:30pm (11:30pm on Fri , Sat)

Hourly wage + tips averages approximately $20-$27/hr.

Soda Jerk/Bartender candidate must have the ability to do the following:

  • work independently

  • handle a small crowd efficiently

  • memorize complex soda/cocktail recipes

  • Promptly greet all guests

  • Take orders, pour beers according to proper beer serving standards, and handle cash/credit transactions via POS system

Act as manager when manager is unavailable

In charge of shifts and delegating tasks

Restock the register nightly for the correct change

Take deposits to the bank several times a week and maintain an accurate count of petty cash
