Our shop is looking for a new Barber to join our team. You must have a current license to cut hair and have completed a barber training program. While we focus on men’s hairstyles, you should be comfortable using a variety of hairstyling techniques for different customers. You must have strong communication and customer service skills; we want all of our customers to enjoy being in our barbershop and leave satisfied with their cut so that they become regular customers.


Barber Duties and Responsibilities



  • Greet clients as they arrive and offer them refreshments

  • Prep clients for their haircut and ask what type of styling they want

  • Cut and style clients’ hair to their specifications

  • Engage in friendly conversation with clients

  • Keep your station, tools, and equipment sanitized and in good condition

  • Ensure you have the proper products in stock for future clients

  • Investigate customer complaints and provide solutions.

  • Maintains a safe and clean store environment by following company policies.

  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information

  • Maintains quality service by complying with organization standards

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications

  • Light lifting up to 50 pounds may be required occasionally

  • Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications


Required:



  • Associate Degree in Business or related or equivalent experience in HME, Home Health Industry, or Retail

  • At least one year experience with a pharmacy or wholesale distributor in a capacity relating to the dispensing and distribution of, and record keeping of prescription drugs preferred but not required

  • Must be a strong communicator, have excellent written, presentation, oral communications and interpersonal skills

  • Fluency in English (Spanish a plus)

  • Must possess a valid drivers license issued by the State in which you reside

We are looking for a LICENSED & EXPERIENCED (at least 2 years of experience) full time Master Barber who will be responsible for:



  • Welcoming clients and building clientele 

  • Cutting and trimming clients' hair

  • Styling hair using chemical solutions and styling tools.

  • Shaving, trimming and shaping clients’ beards and mustaches. (CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE DURING PHASE 3 of COIVD-19 PROCEDURES)

  • Washing and conditioning clients’ hair.

  • Providing hair treatments and coloring.

  • Ensuring that combs, scissors, razors, and other instruments are cleaned and sanitized after each use.

  • Supervising apprentices and trainees.

  • Providing face, scalp and neck massages.

  • Providing hairstyle suggestions to clients.


Requirements:



  • High school diploma or GED.
