We are seeking an Associate Attorney to become a part of our team! You can make a difference in this small but very active Long Island firm.


We are looking for an admitted attorney with 2 plus years’ experience in civil/commercial litigation. Position requires the ability to manage litigation cases and to resolve legal disputes on behalf of the Firm’s clients through careful research and analysis of case issues, drafting, filing and serving complaints, motions, and discovery, and advocating for clients in court. Admittance to Federal Court is strongly preferred. Excellent opportunity for advancement. The Firm is located in the heart of Nassau County and primarily handles civil litigation in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Salary commensurate with experience.


Responsibilities



  • Provide legal support to clients and assist other Firm attorneys

  • Prepare legal documents, conduct discovery and make court appearances

  • Maintain client relationships


Qualifications



  • Juris Doctor degree and 2 plus years’ experience in civil litigation

  • Admitted to practice in the State of New York

  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong legal knowledge and analytical skills
