A new Pilates studio (opened in September 2019) is looking for LA's most badass instructors to join our team!

Pilates Punx (www.pilatespunx.com) offers both Classical Pilates instruction as well as a contemporary spin on Classical for both private sessions and mid-sized group classes, all while keeping roots in Classical Pilates. Our schedule has a mix of strictly CLASSICAL classes as well as CONTEMPORARY classes, so we meet all of our client's wants and needs!

We are a music-driven studio that is catering to the counter-culture. We are a space with no intimidation inviting anyone and everyone to give Pilates a try - and then stay because they love it! We’re trying to take any negative assumptions about what Pilates is and who Pilates is for and throw that out the window.

You must be nationally certified, carry professional and liability insurance, and have public and private training/class instruction experience on both equipment and mat. Must be able to train special populations. Love and appreciation for punk, rock, metal, and counter-culture will be appreciated!

Multiple days and hours are available, but please be available for atleast 2 days per week and either Saturday or Sunday being one of those days. We are still in the phase of creating something new, so you would be able to be a part of something from the ground up.

Competitive compensation, based on experience with growth opportunities.

Please respond with a current picture and your resumé as soon as possible.

Blue Republic CrossFit is looking for a well-seasoned, educated CrossFit Instructor to join our staff.

Specifically, we'll be very interested a CF Trainer who has a few years of instruction under their belt, along with some upper-level fitness education to boot. This position, in the hands of the right applicant, will be as close to a full-time position as we can define: lots of time on the floor, lots of leadership, and lots of opportunity. We're looking to create a continuity and an expectation with our Blue Republic Family for excellence in teaching, attending, and coaching.

Certifications or Specializations in Oly Lifting and/or Gymnastics will particularly catch our eye.

We'll also be interested in our new staff member living as close to the West-Side of LA as possible; not only do we love to have our staff attending our special events, but we want our trainers working out and grafting themselves into the DNA of the gym.

Personality is massive. Despite our job heading (well-seasoned, educated, upper-level CF Trainers), we're firm-believers that: no one cares how much you know, until they know how much you care. We're looking for Servants of the People: Trainers who make it their life-mission to create health and fitness through encouragement and support.

We've got classroom teaching hours, specialty clinics, a burgeoning Olympic Lifting Program, and lots of opportunities to grow the careers of our trainers with competitive rates, an excellent facility, and creative programs which we encourage our trainers to host. These extra-curricular activities for our community translate to an extension of well-paid hours on the floor for our coaches, and an excellent, active learning environment for our community.

*Apologies: without the base CrossFit-L1 Certificate, you'll be ineligible for our consideration.

To show us that you're detail-oriented, attentive, and driven, please include the phrase: "Hey, BRC! I'm ready to crush it!" in your submission. We're excited to meet you!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $25.00 to $35.00 /hour
