REQUIREMENTS


 


Architectural Registration in California or NCARB


Minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional working experience;


Experience leading Type V and III, projects in low and mid-rise construction; outstanding abilities in design, detailing, problem solving, and documentation experience;


Superior familiarity with materials and products;


Excellent Communication skills both written and verbal.


 


Must be an AutoCAD/Revit expert


 


Other skills include: project planning and staff budgeting, design, construction documents, client communications and team leadership. The ideal candidate must be adept at handling multiple projects and multiple teams, delegating work effectively and critically, reviewing and coordinating the work of others. Strong knowledge of the design delivery process, good common sense and articulate graphic and verbal communication and writing skills are an absolute necessity.

    Successful candidates must possess a license to practice architecture, demonstrate professional experience with building design, materials, structure and construction, and be familiar with a variety of commercial and income-producing building types, Specific Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) experience, with operational experience is a plus desired for this position.


    The strongest consideration will be given to candidates who exhibit excellent technical writing skills, good working knowledge regarding MEP systems, have working knowledge of a wide variety of these system types, and the interrelation of systems and their components.


    Excellent writing skills are paramount.


    The candidate will have 6-10 years experience conducting projects and assessing a diverse number of properties in accordance with ASTM E2018-15. In addition, expertise in evaluating mechanical, electrical, plumbing, sprinkler, life safety and elevator components (MEP), assessing their condition, and estimating costs to repair, refurbish or replace the components or systems is required.


    Experience with alternate energy sources, "green" solutions, and/or new systems technologies, and/or estimating potential operational cost savings will be a plus. Experience designing systems is not necessary, though helpful.

    In this role you will enable OCI customers to more effectively utilize OCI High Performance Computing services and the platform at large. As a trusted customer advocate, you will help organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions and how manufacturing, financial, oil and gas, and retail workloads to the cloud. You will also work closely with several OCI product teams to share customer feedback, help refine product evolution and user experience.

    As a Solutions Architect on the High Performance Computing Team you will continuously experiment on our platform by building, deploying and running application across thousands of cores which aligning to customer use cases in order to develop best practices and reference architectures.
