We are an early-stage startup seeking a VP of Technology to join our team! You will coordinate activities in fields such as coding/programming, data processing, information systems, and systems analysis. This would start as a part-time position but could quickly turn into a full-time position if needed.


We have office space in startup incubators in Tuscaloosa, AL and in Birmingham, AL. We would prefer for you to work in one of those offices but the position could be remote as well. We have equity options and will be adding additional benefits. We could even discuss a CTO role if you have incredible experience.


Your motivation needs to come from getting in on something big at the groundfloor and helping us grow it with the goal of a 5-7 year multimillion-dollar exit. You will directly impact the direction and success of the company.


Responsibilities:



  • Maintain, update, and add features to the current robust responsive web application utilizing the tech stack: Laravel, API, MySQL, and ReactJS.

  • Front end design and back end development

  • Help develop or oversee the development of Native IOS and Android applications

  • Develop and oversee IT procedures and operations

  • Assist in strategic planning and risk analysis

  • Identify information system needs

  • Establish priorities for system upgrades

  • Perform regular security monitoring to identify intrusions

  • Optimize ongoing network design

  • Recruit and manage a technical team


Qualifications:



  • Excellent coding experience with current tech stack: Laravel, API, MySQL, and ReactJS.

  • Ability to oversee large projects and lead a technical team

  • Ability to evaluate software and hardware

  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask

  • Deadline and detail-oriented

  • Previous experience in IT or other related fields

  • Ability to organize and manipulate data spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel)

  • Extremely Organized and Self-Motivated


Additional Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with Wordpress and WP code languages (Primarily PHP. It also utilizes a vast amount of HTML, CSS and a little Javascript for various aspects.)

  • Enjoy and understand the outdoor industry (this will help with decision-making processes since a hunter or fisherman is our target customer)

Users simply list a trip they have and swap it for a trip they want to go on. Some examples could be a hunting trip for a beach vacation or a deep-sea fishing trip for box seats to a sports game. Members simply add a trip they have access to and swap it for a trip they want to go on thus saving thousands of dollars in expenses.

Currently, we have trips in 46 states and 9 countries and are growing every day.

Z5 Inventory is on a mission to clean up the healthcare supply chain and eliminate the waste. We are seeking a Project Associate (Temp-to-Hire) to come help us clean up the healthcare supply chain. Our Associates will travel nationwide managing accounts and counting/removing excess product at various hospitals. This position will report directly to the Client Services Director.


We expect that every one of our candidates have their eye on advancement in our company. Permanent role in Client Services or other teams are available to those who prove to be a force of awesome!


Responsibilities:



  • Perform physical inventories and product reallocation at hospitals using Z5's iPad-based technology.

  • Support the Client Services Team with tasks as needed.

  • Maintain high personal conduct while traveling.

  • Adhere to rules around sterility when working within the clinical areas.

  • Travel with as little as a weeks’ notice with up to 80% travel during peak months.

  • Work long days and weekends as required (no holidays).

  • Fill in down time between inventory counts working on a secondary skill for advancement (inside sales, business development, project management, customer care, web development, data analytics, etc).


Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Ability to be on your feet for very long periods of time without complaining.

  • Voracious appetite to learn.

  • Acute attention to detail.

  • Ability to deal with a customer’s s#!t-storm with a smile on your face.

  • ABILITY TO TRAVEL AS NEEDED.

Our client is actively seeking a Director/VP, Business Development to work at their location in Chapel Hill, NC.


As a member of the leadership team, you will have the opportunity to formulate strategy, drive results and contribute to the company’s growth; to lead the commercialization of our hardware, software and analytics product portfolio; and to solve meaningful problems for patients, payers, clinicians and CROs in the rapidly evolving patient health space.


Responsibilities



  • Work with the senior team to develop value propositions and market positioning strategies for products and solutions in the healthcare space.


  • Establish relationships with payers and providers to help commercialize products and solutions within our target markets, establish success metrics, generate revenues, and establish our brand.

  • Lead cross-functionally with sales, account management, customer success, engineering and operations teams to launch and iterate on product initiatives.


  • Lead presentations and product demonstrations for leaders in payer and provider organizations and serve as the face of the company at industry events.

  • Collaborate to develop white papers and build presentations.

  • Contribute to product/engineering/design reviews and in defining our product strategy for the CRO and clinical space


Requirements




  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, computer science, electrical engineering or related fields, Master’s degree a plus.

  • Strong technical skills and experience across multiple domains including devices, cloud-based architecture, applications and analytics.

  • 5+ years of experience, with 3+ years in healthcare in market development/ commercialization of health technologies in the clinical provider or CRO space.

  • Proven track record of commercializing technology to midsized and large healthcare providers and building relationships with key influencers in the company’s markets.

  • Deep desire to work at the ground-floor of an early-stage, rapid-growth health technology startup.

  • Familiarity with EHR/EMRs, and security and regulatory issues in healthcare technology required.
