Job Description

All Better Together is seeking a full-time behavior technician to join our team. You will be responsible for following the treatment plan and implementing behavioral interventions for children with autism. You will work in your clients’ homes, schools, or community settings and telehealth in the East Bay, rather than a clinic. The successful candidate will share our commitment to providing excellent ABA services and helping each client achieve their full potential. 

You will be paid $17 to $21.25 per hour (depending on your experience and education). You will be eligible for health, dental, and vision insurance. We pay drive time and mileage between sessions and work very hard to assign you to clients close to where you live. Our goal is providing reliable and consistent full time hours.

Our team is trained to high standards in the field of applied behavior analysis, and find fulfillment in seeing their clients progress. They are enthusiastic about the real world outcomes that can be achieved through high quality ABA programs and dedicated to the important role they play in making their clients’ progress possible every day. 

For this position, you must be consistently available to work 12:00-8:00 six days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with children 
  • Implementing behavior support plans as prescribed by Clinical Program Manager
  • Managing and responding to challenging behaviors according to the plan
  • Inputting valid behavior data and accurate clinical documentation into our digital data collection platform
  • Maintaining appropriate professional boundaries with clients, their families, and staff 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ months experience working in ABA implementing behavior support plans under the supervision of BCBA 
  • Experience working with children
  • Degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field (or near completion)

Requirements:

  • Experience working in ABA implementing behavior support plans under the supervision of BCBA
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, car insurance
  • TB test, MMR and Tdap immunizations, background check, reference check
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. Able to stand/sit/kneel for extended periods of time
