Part Time Aide Position Available Now
Pacific Elementary School in Davenport has an opening for an aide to serve in one or more of several roles, beginning March 2. Pacific Elementary School is a small public school about 10 miles north of Santa Cruz, famous for our intimate educational setting and award-winning school lunch program.

We have an immediate need for additional aide support in some combination of the following roles:
• 6th grade special education aide, to work primarily with a single student with special needs
• After school care aide in a program which serves preschool and kindergarten students
• Kindergarten classroom aide
Schedule: All needed roles occur 8:40 a.m. – 3:10 p.m. M, Tu, Th, F and 8:40 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Wednesdays. Exact details of the schedule depend on roles assigned. Some scheduling flexibility is possible.
Pay rate: $13.00 – $17.29 per hour depending on years of experience and Spanish language skills.
Skills: Experience working with children, especially younger children and/or children with special needs, and strong communication skills are desirable. Teaching, aiding, tutoring, or similar experience is valuable. Spanish language skills are useful but not required. Training will be provided.
