Longbranch on San Pablo Ave in Berkeley is looking for a new Restaurant Floor Manager!
We serve contemporary American Cuisine which respects seasonal, organic, sustainable, farm fresh ingredients and artisan products. The food is a product of the diversity of our heritage, culinary experience, location, and access to products. We hope that the food at Longbranch reflects our commitment to quality value, community, and the environment. We are happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions. We offer 150 whiskeys ryes and bourbons, 24 draft beers from local brewers, and feature an exceptionally focused wine list. All spirits, beer, and wine selections value craft, quality, and small batch brewing and distilling.
We're looking for someone who can lead our team, provide support, and keep our restaurant in top shape. Ideal candidate should have excellent restaurant experience. Fine dining experience is preferred. Excellent wine/spirits knowledge is a plus. We provide professional, but casual service.
Typical responsibilities include:
- being on the floor providing support
- menu changes and updates (including website)
- standard restaurant maintenance (ie. lightbulbs, cleaning, etc)
- training of newhires
- hr paperwork
- closing responsibilities/ money counting
- POS updates and fixes
- covering sick/missed shifts for staff
Longbranch is open for dinner service Tuesday thru Saturday until 11:30pm/12am, and Sunday until 9pm. Brunch is Saturday and Sunday from 10am-2:30pm. We don't have any lunch service.
Salary is open for discussion based on experience.
