We are looking for Seasonal team members. Duties include opening and closing the building, customer service, cashiering, receiving shipment, dept ownership and light cleaning and organizing. Must have Mon and Tues availability. We are looking to hire local individual with DAYTIME WEEKDAY availability. Our seasonal positions start now and run through the 15th of Feb. The position will Flex from 2-3 days a week up to 4-5 depending on where we are in the season. For fastest response, please come by the store and pick up an application. We are an institution on Solano ave. This location has been open for over 25 years. We are one of the last independent card stores in the area. In a time where you see 1-3 cards vendors at grocery and drug stores? We carry over 100 different greeting card vendors! In an era of instant gratification and technology? We are working to preserve rituals that involve the written word! That includes not just sending greeting cards, but also Thank You cards and keeping a journal! And sending snail mail! We are a card and gift store and work hard to keep unique gifts and offer cards and Merch offered by local artist wherever possible.
We are a small locally owned chain. You get the experience of working in a retail environment yet the specialty boutique aspect of working in a neighborhood. Reg Store hours are 10-6:30 M-S and 11-5 on Sunday.
