Hanson of Sonoma is looking for a creative, out-of-the-box individual with and interest in marketing, graphic designer and passion to develop Hanson Distilleries grassroots marketing campaign. This experience provides the opportunity to build a voice for the Hanson of Sonoma brand. Utilizing Facebook, Instagram, and email marketing campaigns the Digital Manager will help to build and drive a consistent Hanson voice and look across all platforms in order to drive engagement, community, spirits society membership, and event sales.
The ideal candidate:
We make small-batch organic vodka from grapes in Sonoma wine country. We pride ourselves on breaking barriers by offering a wine-based organic vodka, which is unique in the vodka space. We just opened our first two retail tasting rooms and expanded our wholesale business to 22 states. We continue to grow in sales year after year. Our tasting rooms have had a significant impact on our outreach by allowing us to connect with our customers, sharing our story in a personal, authentic way.
We actively work to convey our core values as a company: we use the highest quality organic ingredients and sophisticated distilling techniques and equipment to create a better vodka. We believe that each person who walks into our tasting room deserves a meaningful personal connection. We have found that these interactions help to cultivate loyalty and a ‘cult-like’ following for our vodka, that in turn creates brand champions who share our story.
We are innovative. Rather than making vodka from traditional wheat, potatoes, or corn, we’re inspired by our local resource, grapes. We found grapes make a smoother, delicious vodka.
We only use the highest quality organic ingredients to make our spirits, which is more expensive and time consuming than conventional methods. We are working to change the paradigm in our industry by asking consumers to demand organics in the spirits industry. We were the first verified Non-GMO spirit in the U.S and are certified gluten free. Our newest release is infused with organic Meyer lemons from DMS Ranch 24 miles away. Our Boysenberry vodka is infused with Swanton Farm berries.
We started our business in the heart of world-renowned Napa and Sonoma wine region and opened a spirits distillery and tasting room to offer something different.
Our tasting rooms are community and education centers. They are a local resource for hosting non-profits, celebrations, and events. We hold classes where we teach guests how to make vodka infusions, create craft cocktails, discover unique pairings. We have donated to and supported In Good Company, Futurewell, Slide Ranch, Good Food Awards, Civil Eats, and Turning Green.
