CorrectiveSolutions, a company contracted by the District Attorney’s office is offering a position to facilitate a Bilingual (Spanish) 4/1/2-hour class for our diversion program. This class is taught on Saturdays and is compensated on an hourly basis. Classes are held 1-2 Saturdays per month depending on enrollment. Curriculum will be provided and training will be compensated.
This position requires a Masters's Degree level of education in the field of psychology, sociology or counseling. A Masters Degree in progress would be considered. In addition, group facilitation experience working with resistant populations in any field of psychology is the primary qualification for this position.
The objective of the class is to help people resolve their issues around negative behaviors and to explore the systemic nature of this problem. In addition, this class offers an eclectic approach to resolving many of the other issues in one’s life that can cause stress and disharmony. The class is regulated with a well-written curriculum that provides students with new awareness and choices.
