Job Description

  Busy Marin restaurant is seeking a vibrant FOH Manager/AGM who has a passion for people and a genuine sense of hospitality. We are seeking someone with a confident presence who can create and maintain loyal guest relations, by providing memorable dining experiences and satisfaction.    The ideal candidate must have experience managing a busy, causal-fine dining restaurant, a caring, yet professional attitude, a keen eye for detail, knowledge and passion for food and wine, a strong leader who inspires excellence in others, a team player, and someone who genuinely enjoys working with, and serving people. This position has great opportunity for growth.

 Qualifications & Attributes: -At least 2 years management experience.
-Ability to train, coach, lead, manage, support, develop and motivate staff.
-Manage all details of running the front of the house and guest relations. -Business savvy - a head for numbers & accounting, food & labor costs, P&Ls. -Assist in overseeing all aspects of the front and back of house operations.  -Problem solving skills & grace under pressure. -Cash handling, shift supervision & scheduling.
-Proficiency with POS systems (Toast), Excel, Word, sound, phones, Social Media.
-Knowledge of Human Resources, Health Department regulations, A.B.C. laws. -Must be able to work nights and weekends. 

This is a great opportunity to learn & grow into a GM position.

Salary:  $50-60k DOE to start. Bonus and flex benefits. Work in a fun environment 40-ish hours/week, early evenings & lots of growth potential.
