  Itasca Country Club is a family friendly private country club with a beautiful golf course, pool and banquet facilities located in the heart of Itasca. We offer a bocce court in the warmer months and an ice rink in the winter months to our members, as well as a full service restaurant, Fox & Turtle, which is open to the public. We are currently looking to hire for the following position: Banquets Set Up This position reports to the Banquet Manager. Key Responsibilities  

• Communicate with the Banquet Manager to assess the setup and service needs of every event.
• Effectively read a Banquet Event Order and Room Diagram to perform setup for events, including moving tables, chairs and staging, as well as setting linens, setting tables and folding napkins.
• Assist with inventory of event related items, including but not limited to: linens, glassware, flatware, china, cleaning supplies, etc.
• Keep storage areas clean and organized.
• Serve alongside banquet captain and banquet service staff during events.
• Perform closing service jobs after events.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

Required Skills  

• Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays, divider walls and stand for long hours.
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekends.
• Good oral communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment.
• Dependable and dedicated to achieving operational excellence.
• A positive customer service oriented attitude.
• Spanish speaking a plus.
