Opus 1 Music Studio is a highly-rated music school with 6,000 sq/ft of music studio space in Palo Alto and Mountain View. We recently expanded and are looking for teachers for piano, guitar, voice, violin, & group classes as well as teachers available to substitute teach. Administrative roles are also available and can be combined with teaching. Hours include afternoon/evening and some mornings, all days of the week. Opus 1 provides full-time administrative support for all scheduling, makeup lessons, enrollment, accounting, and recital/exam/contest registration. Teachers are not responsible for any logistical work outside of communications with students/parents and teaching responsibilities. We currently have 40+ teachers with full schedules. Lessons are taught on-site at our school - no home lessons. We are committed to offering competitive compensation based on your teaching experience and work performance, mentorship, and professional development (potentially full-time W2 with a base salary and healthcare benefits). We are also pursuing the possibility of a dual teacher/admin role. In this situation, qualified applicants interested in involvement with administrative operations in addition to teaching will be considered for both. Please indicate if this is an interest in your application. Please note that we are not currently pursuing candidates who require visa sponsorship.
