Job Description

ITS is a thriving, established and expanding private therapy practice serving the South Bay and West Los Angeles areas for over 15 years. We provide comprehensive rehabilitation, habilitation, educational programs and wellness to a diverse pediatric clientele and the occasional adult. We are a highly passionate and skilled interdisciplinary team seeking a dynamic, talented, and fun Speech/Language Therapist (A strong CF is welcome to interview) to join our family.

The ITS team and speech therapy team is passionate about what we do both in the clinic and in the community to fulfill our mission of "putting development back on track to achieve a fulfilling life for all our clients".

If you love to learn and are interested in cutting edge clinically proven programs to keep you motivated, all while having the most fun possible in a clinic. If you want to do whatever it takes to get a child communicating then this is the place for you.

This position requires a minimum Masters Degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences or related field and a CA License to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.  Must be licensed in California as a Speech-Language Pathologist or be eligible to get a license to practice in California.

Your duties include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating schedules with the front desk for maximum utilization of the therapist’s time in face to face interaction with your clients.
  • Evaluating new patients.
  • Treating existing patients following the treatment plan prescribed or developed by you.
  • Conducting Quality Assurance Checks on patients and the therapists you supervise (including student interns, SLPAs and CFs if within your scope) to ensure complete client satisfaction.
  • Asking patients who are doing well to refer their friends and family in any given opportunity (QA checks, discharge visit, etc.). Ensure your supervisees do the same.
  • Discharging patients when treatment is fully complete and all patient goals are met.
  • Keeping chart notes and administration up-to-date with all relevant data included (per company guidelines/procedures and policies). Ensure your supervisees do the same.
  • Complete supervision of supervisees following state licensing Board and ASHA requirements, if you have supervisees.
  • Participating in staff meetings and team meetings.
  • Keeping records of all the above functions in a way that there is a record of all production. Referral Source Visits/phone calls with a frequency of at least every 6 months (every time a report has been written).
