Vicara is an Aveda lifestyle salon and spa looking for a Front Desk Assistant Manager with salon experience and Aveda product knowledge to join our team!
-Oversee/train front desk staff and ensure productivity.
-Consistently provide professional, engaging and friendly service.
-Daily front desk/reception duties: phones, booking appointments, sales, checking clients in & out.
-Process client payments and check-out transactions, and be responsible for shift-end cash drawer balances.
-Help maintain a clean and professional environment.
-Perform any duties and responsibilities as assigned, including those listed on opening, closing, and other checklists.
-Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
-Enhancing client experience.
-Respond to all web, email and phone inquiries.
-Front desk product & service sales tracking.
-Ensure salon is meeting weekly sales goals.
-Assist Manager with stylist scheduling needs and client issues.
-Minimum one-year salon/spa, hotel, or gym front desk experience.
-Minimum one year management or supervisor experience.
-A positive and enthusiastic attitude.
-Able to work well as a team in a fast-paced environment.
-Able to work flexible days and hours, including evenings and weekends.
-Reliable and punctual.
-Ability to handle pressure and maintain composure in stressful situations.
-Exceptional customer service, leadership, and communication skills.
-Must have basic computer skills.
-Salonbiz software experience is a plus.
-Aveda experience is a plus.
Salary: Depends on qualifications.
