Non-Public School located in Sacramento is seeking an energetic individual to join our team of Special Education professionals. Experience working with Autism, emotionally disturbed (ED), special education students and/or working in classrooms is preferred. Responsibilities include working and training staff on transportation. Developing routes for staff, working with staff to ensure appropriate van behavior, speaking with parents and upkeep and maintenance of fleet. Looking for patient individuals who can take initiative and communicate well with others. Training, support and opportunities for advancement is provided and encouraged.
Position is available immediately. Experience working with students with special needs is preferred. Hours are approximately 7:00 to 3:30, but need to be available at other hours for van emergencies and upkeep.
