Mademoiselle Colette is an authentic French Patisserie growing and extending our brand in the Silicon Valley. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced General Manager to grow with us and drive our retail business. The General Manager will be an integral part of company efforts and will be a valued member of the management team. We pride ourselves on staying true to our commitment to fresh, exquisitely prepared food and superior warm and friendly service. We use the highest quality ingredients, focusing on organic and natural products when possible. In our cafes we serve breakfast and lunch, viennoiserie, pastries, delicious salads, open faced sandwiches, fresh baked breads and coffee and espresso. • Knowledge of restaurant/cafe operations and experience recruiting and managing staff

• Proven ability to understand and execute organizational goals and objectives

• Team player with a collaborative style and approach

• Leadership, relationship, team building and conflict management skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple projects and hit deadlines

• Experience reviewing financial reports, managing and meeting budgets

• Extremely reliable and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

• Experience with POS systems, Microsoft Office and other computer skills

Our Story

Debora Ferrand is the owner/founder of Mademoiselle Colette. She has graduated from the « Cordon Bleu »,and has further developed an innate inspiration for delicate pastries by attending the national school of Pastry in France (School of Alain Ducasse) where she rubbed shoulders with chef Jean-Marie Hiblot, of the well known Plaza Athene in Paris. Well World Traveled, Debora has continued to innovate and come up with new creations, inspired by her many different cultural experiences while constantly remaining dedicated to her ultimate French flair. 


Orphée Fouano is the executif chef of Mademoiselle Colette. Orphée was recently working at Hôtel Plaza Athénée , one of the top five star hotels in Paris, together with Chef Christophe Michalak, World Champion of Pastry. He has also worked closely with Chef Fabien Berteau, voted « best Pastry Chef of year 2015 » by the guide Gault & Millau. Orphée is one of the promising young chefs in France and has already earned many awards including the winner of « Dessert of winter 2013 » contest and ranking 3rd in the « professional discovery in food business » at Saint Cloud, France.
