Mountain Mike’s Pizza has a solid 40 year reputation for making the best pizza in Northern California. The Sacramento/Bay Area Regional Franchise Developer is now hiring for Business Development Manager/ Operations Director. This is the number one office for Mountain Mike’s Pizza that oversees and directs 100 independently operated franchise restaurants and manages all new restaurant development in over 24 California Counties with multiple new start up restaurants every year.
The Business Development Manager will oversee the new store development process and the ongoing support of our franchise community. You will be in charge of the full development of new locations. From initial lease signing, architectural design and review, construction management of the buildout, ordering equipment and supplies, setting up vendors and licenses, to new employee crew training and final opening. No two projects are alike.
You will also direct new Franchise Corporation initiatives and roll outs to the field team and track and report on progress and completion. Communication and coordination for initiating, tracking and follow through with multiple different suppliers and providers and our independent restaurant owners is key to the success of each project.
The Director will report directly to the Regional Franchise Developer who will be sourcing new locations and franchisees. You will supervise an internal staff of seven support personnel. The regional training restaurant is also owned and operated by the Developer where you will provide oversight and guidance of its operations.
Working hours are primarily from 8:00 to 5:00 with after hours availability on calls for emergency issues. Office is in Roseville California.
Compensation ranges from $85,000 to $100,000 per year depending on qualifications and experience with paid medical benefits, paid vacation time, paid incidentals, travel and cell phone, 401K Plan.
Candidates must have the following skills and experience:
• Multiple year restaurant or hospitality management. Multi-unit experience is preferred.
• Franchise or small business start-up and development experience. Direct project management is preferred.
• Knowledge of systems and equipment in the restaurant industry.
• Highly organized with multiple details in many moving projects.
• Able to find solutions and work through issues without oversight and direction.
• Excellent writing skills in memos, reports, and processes, on a variety of platforms.
• Use of budgeting, proformas, cost management, and profitability for projects.
