Description

If you answered yes to these questions, we believe that you would be an excellent candidate as a Program Manager in our Chicago office.

 

As our Program Manager, you will be responsible for successfully managing our firm’s strategic partnerships, using your terrific relationship building skills to motivate internal and external stakeholders to drive referral flow. You will support and directly report to a Partner on our leadership team and will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with them to develop new strategic partnerships and other key initiatives to drive growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitate the successful implementation of new strategic partnerships
    • Define project plan, outlining roles and responsibilities, key deliverables, target dates, decision-making control and escalation plan
    • Ensure success criteria is clearly defined, measurable and communicated upfront to align stakeholders
    • Provide program reporting to leadership, communicating status and escalating any issues
  • Develop and grow strong collaborative relationships with all stakeholders – both internal and external – serving as the firm’s main point-of-contact for managing referrals, solving issues, communicating needs and creating synergy
  • Use Salesforce to effectively track, manage and analyze referral flow from each strategic partnership, and provide weekly sales and strategic partnership reports to leadership
  • Champion and manage new projects and initiatives to create stronger partnerships
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop key collateral to support business needs
    • Lead event planning coordinating across stakeholders and vendors
  • Conduct market research and identify opportunities for expanding existing and fostering new strategic partnerships
  • Support inorganic growth initiatives including pipeline tracking and meeting preparation
  • Support leadership with preparation for Board, Executive Committee, Partner, etc. meetings/calls and associated follow-up
  • Lead ad-hoc projects that range from clearly/well-defined to open-ended/un-defined

Qualifications

Ideal Candidate Profile – “Our Casting Call!”

  • 5+ years’ experience in consulting, business management or business generation; proven track record of successfully managing strategic partnerships preferred
  • Tenacious go-getter with a positive attitude and engaging personality who excels at motivating others, driving consensus and adoption
  • Superior project management, critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, and Salesforce
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with great attention-to-detail and the ability to consolidate data into deliverables that are concise and persuasive
  • Team player who leaves their ego at the door and has a growth mindset, welcoming feedback with the goal of continuous improvement
  • Bachelor’s degree required with major in business or finance preferred
