Summary of Position:
and cooks all food products according to the Dog Haus Culinary Manual. Maintains food
and other inventory on the kitchen line
according to Dog Haus brand standards and local Food Safety
regulations using the FIFO process. Responsible for maintaining a clean,
sanitary and organized grill and work space.
Directly responsible for portion and cost control, knowing and executing all Dog Haus methods of
cooking and plating of all items cooked on the Grill and Broiler.
Reports to Kitchen Manager.

•A minimum of 6 months of kitchen experience with food preparation and cooking
•Must have a current Food Safety
•Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and restaurant personnel
•Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
•Be able to work in a standing position in a hot, fast-paced environment for long
periods of time (up to 8 hours)
•Have the ability to work with urgency, be friendly, and be able to maintain a spotless work station.
Duties & Responsibilities:
•Complete opening and closing checklists
•Stock all foods, smallwares and paper goods at the beginning and end of shift
•Receive and acknowledge all order tickets from the printer, and drop foods quickly
•Understand and consistently comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods and brand quality standards according to the Dog Haus Culinary Manual
•Drop and cooks all proteins as they are called out, making sure to give a confirmation call back
•Communicate with Kitchen Manager during service on readiness of items cooked
•Maintain a clean and sanitary work station area including the broiler, griddle, floors, walls, spatulas, tongs and other kitchen equipment.
•Assist team in opening and closing the kitchen as needed.
•Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement
•Promptly reports equipment and food quality problems to Manager
•Informs Manager immediately of product shortages
•Remains current withthe Dog Haus Culinary Manual for cooking and plating all menu items
•Utilizes the FIFO procedure with all restocking and food preparation
•Properly stores, wraps and labels all leftover food products with contents and date
•Performs other related duties as assigned by the Manager
Dog Haus has garnered critical acclaim and national attention for its signature all beef Haus Dogs and handcrafted proprietary Haus Sausages, as well as its 100% genetically tested, humanely raised, hormone- and antibiotic-free Black Angus beef from Creekstone Farms. All Dog Haus dogs, sausages and burgers are served on grilled King’s Hawaiian rolls. Restaurants are open for lunch and dinner daily and guests can choose from signature, one-of-kind Haus creations or customize their own from a wide array of unique toppings.
