YOUNG NINJAS is an after-school program that introduces BASIC, non-contact martial arts skills, in a fun and friendly way to kids ages 3-9. Lot's of games, skills, and challenges!
We teach our classes at different locations all over Los Angeles. EX: preschools. elementary schools, parks, and play spaces. Classes are 45-MINS to 60-MINS, after school and start around 2-3 PM. We are looking for awesome individuals interested in training and teaching with us over the summer in an effort to take on your own classes starting in the Fall of 2019. This position is part-time however, the longer you teach with us the more hours you can earn.
Our best Senseis have a passion for sports, physical activity or martial arts and love working with kids. Our instructors range from actors, students, comedians, and musicians. Being able to be silly and fun on the job, while managing a group of kids is what we look for in a Young Ninjas instructor. You DO NOT need any background in martial arts.
1) Be FUN and have lots of ENERGY!
2) ANY kind of active/sports/fitness experience or background: EX: FITNESS, SPORTS, GYMNASTICS, etc. MARTIAL ARTS is a plus.
3) Must have experience working with children in a GROUP SETTING
4) Have a reliable source of transportation which is NOT public, ride sharing, or a motorcycle.
5) Be able to commit to an entire semester of classes (Approximately 3 Months)
PAY: As you train, the assistant rate is $20 per 45/60 min class, where you can train in as many as 2 or 3 classes per week. After 4-6 weeks of training, you can be promoted to a Sensei where you will make $30 per class. After one successful session teaching as a Sensei, you will be promoted to a Lead Sensei where you will make $40 per class.

Young Ninjas was created by a bunch of dudes with martial arts, fitness, and education backgrounds, to encourage children to move, play, and challenge themselves. Through age-appropriate and play based curriculum, our objective is to make a positive impact on each child, by introducing them to martial arts in a creative, fun, and non-competitive setting.
Along the way, students will learn new skills and valuable life lessons through positive reinforcement, instilling children with self-confidence. We make fitness fun by teaching martial arts, one of the world’s oldest and most popular sports, and what better way to do that then by becoming a ninja. C’mon, how cool
