The Midwife and The Baker is a wholesale bakery in Mountain View looking for both full and part-time bakers to join our team. We specialize in whole grain sourdough breads and mill all of our grain on site! We supply to many high end cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores all over the Bay area.
We need skilled bakers in all shifts starting immediately. Our early bread shift includes all of the dough mixing, shaping, and some baking. The pastry team is making croissant and scone. All products are made from scratch using French techniques and organic ingredients.
The afternoon/evening shift bakes all sourdoughs, baguettes, and pastries. This job requires attention and good pacing. Breads are baked in a deck oven and pastries in a rotating rack oven. Previous working knowledge of both machines is expected. Email Mac at firstname.lastname@example.org
We are a husband (the baker) and wife (the midwife) team passionate about food. We believe that food should taste good and be good for you. All our breads and pastries are naturally fermented and made with locally grown grains that we mill in-house daily!
We are a growing Bay area bakery pushing the industry forward by milling all of our whole grains on site! We have a diverse group of employees and who wouldn't want to smell bread and croissants all day long!
