Job Description

Food Prep   Kikka sushi is looking for an energetic, hardworking, dependable, team player that will provide great customer service to our customers in the Raley’s Market located at: 2075 Fair Oak Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95825

The Food Prep / Cook will make sushi in advance and per customer's request. No experience making sushi, no problem we will teach you!  The team member will also do prep work, prepare other Asian foods and maintain a clean and neat environment while helping customers in a fun, fast paced, exciting environment.   


  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Be familiar with sushi
  • Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Show great customer service skills
  • Be able and willing to work all Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
  • Have flexible morning and evening availability
  • Be eligible to work in the U.S.   

Pay is $12.50 per hour   

Preferred experience:

  • Sushi Making experience
  • Working in quick service restaurants, supermarkets or fast paced environments
  • Food handling experience and food handler certification

Our History:

Kikka was founded in 1986 by Tonny Soesanto, first as a restaurateur, then as a sushi supplier for markets in the greater Los Angeles Area. Since then, Kikka has grown rapidly throughout the nation to 28 states and 11 locations in Canada, with diverse clientele ranging from supermarkets, businesses and restaurants to universities and hospitals. Originally specializing only in sushi, Kikka has since expanded its menu to include a number of other delicious and popular Asian dishes such as Japanese tempura and Chinesenoodle bowls, Korean staples like bibimbap, and even Indonesian and Vietnamese dishes.
