Business Overview

Our Story

RefuSHE's mission speaks for itself. We are a mission-drive organization committed to providing holistic, trauma-informed care to refugee girls and young women. RefuSHE was founded in 2008 by two American women working in global development in East Africa. Our co-founders Anne Sweeney and Talyn Good saw the critical gap in care for unaccompanied, separated, and orphaned refugee girls, which is why they decided to build RefuSHE. RefuSHE is not only an organization, but we have created a true community of sisterhood for all participants.

Why Work With Us?

We are a collaborative team that values everyone's input and opinions. On Fridays our offices are closed so the full US team is allowed to work remotely. Office dress is casual. There may be travel opportunities for this role in the future.
