Job Description

Honey Butter Fried Chicken is hiring line cooks!
We are looking for solid line cooks who are responsible, kind, have a strong work ethic and integrity, and who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You will primarily be working our line during service. Prepping food menu items is also part of the job.
HBFC is safe, pleasant, FUN, and nurturing work environment! Starting pay is $13 per hour, with room to grow. Our staff also receive benefits like health insurance, PTO, paid sick leave, and gain sharing of business profits. It’s important to us to take care of our team.

Working in our kitchen, cooks get an opportunity to cook both high volume and small scale from scratch recipes made with wholesome ingredients, many sourced from local farms. We work together as kitchen team to put out amazing food, and we have a good time while we do it. No yelling, no insults or discrimination in our restaurant - just a bunch of dedicated, talented people being genuinely helpful to each other and making great food.
Want to be a part of our team? Apply online at: http://www.honeybutter.com/join-us/ or email for more information.

Our Story

In September of 2013, chefs/owners Christine Cikowski and Josh Kulp opened the doors of HBFC in the Avondale neighborhood of Chicago. The restaurant grew out of their underground Sunday Dinner Club, which was established in 2005 and is still going strong today. At HBFC, we apply thoughtful processes to every dish -- and to every practice in our business. We ensure that our employees are provided with a safe and nurturing work environment, thriving wages, paid time off and paid parental leave.
