Program Director for International Programs
Company Overview: International Student Placements is a company that specializes in providing programs for over 3,000 international students, interns, and executives from around the globe annually. ISP headquarters is located in Los Altos, CA and we have centers in multiple cities throughout the United States. ISP is one of the oldest and most respected agencies in the international education field. Our mission is to provide outstanding American experiences for international visitors and we stop at nothing to ensure excellence in the variety of programs we offer. Description: ISP is currently seeking a self-driven, outgoing, passionate, and hard working Program Director to oversee our programs including college homestay programs, high school programs, specialized camps, and short term intensive programs from our Los Altos office. Responsibilities will include but aren’t limited to: •Manage, hire, and train office staff, remote program coordinators, and professional services as needed. •Manage student data and process applications, run reports using Filemaker software, analyze placement data, answer daily email correspondence, and coordinate student arrival details. •Manage and create ISP’s social media marketing campaigns. •Conduct host visits, plan and implement camp programs, execute executive trainee programs, school partnerships, and oversee short term programs. •Assist with the development of new marketing materials and company branding. •Organize and maintain company data in Dropbox, Survey Monkey, and other databases. •Oversee company email campaigns. •Interface and expand international agent relationships. •Handle conflict management with a diverse population of international students, host families, and international agents. Respond to student crisis situations as needed. •Network and promote ISP in new communities throughout the United States. •Recruit and train host families and match students with host families. •Develop and provide student orientations and create new processes for tracking student satisfaction. •Process invoices and track program payments. Job Requirements: Applicants must possess strong office skills, have a strong work ethic, and be able to prioritize their own workflow in a dynamic and ever changing environment. Our Program Director must have a professional demeanor, demonstrated experience at motivating their team, and enjoy juggling multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential and well as a strong customer-service attitude. Experience using Wechat, Slack, Line, Whatsapp, and other international communication platforms are preferred. Additional Requirements: Experience in community outreach, volunteering, sales, education, social work, and intercultural and international exchange preferred. Mandarin language skills preferred but not necessary. Schedule: This is a full time salaried position.
