Substitute Yoga Instructor for Senior Programs at Concordia Place
Concordia Place believes all people deserve to achieve their full potential. By providing growth and opportunity, we change the lives of nearly 1,000 young children, teens, adults and seniors each year, no matter their age or circumstance. Our Senior Fitness Programs is a free community class for adults ages 55 and over looking to improve their total well-being. With our twice weekly yoga class, we aim to help seniors reduce stress, fatigue and pain while increasing strength and balance. We are looking for a motivated, independent certified yoga instructor to substitute for our classes on Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:30am-12:30pm. Specifically, we need a yoga substitute for January into February to fill a leave.
Due to our senior participants age and ability ranges, all yoga exercises must be able to be modified by the instructor for senior participants to be done seated or standing.
Certified Yoga Instructors are required along with a background check to be completed once hired. CPR & First Aid training a plus.
