We are looking for a Cook for our new restaurant, La Crosta Pizza Bar, and our existing and successful restaurant, The Rind.

Position available: Part to Full Time Cook, regular and temporary/seasonal
Must work Saturdays and Sundays, shifts available throughout the week, and on-call opportunity available too. Must be able to open/close as needed.

Description of position of Cook:
Our Cooks are professional cooks who execute an exceptional culinary menu that focuses on artisan and farmstead cheeses. Foods are comfort oriented with a foodie twist that create a consistent, gourmet experience for all guests. Foods will feature seasonal ingredients sourced from local markets and vendors while acquiring as much sustainably farmed produce and products and humanely raised meats as possible.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Prep, cooking, cleaning, and dish washing. Executing a menu that is seasonal and fresh with original concepts that revolve around artisan and farmstead cheese. Consistency, timeliness, and originality are key.
Cooks shall also maintain the management of the kitchen inventory as needed with approval of owner/management. Kitchen cleanliness will be maintained by all working in the kitchen, along with all dishwashing duties, while adhering to all Health Department codes.
Preferred at least 2 yrs experience in a high-volume, upscale-casual dining restaurant environment. Culinary degree or certificate preferred or can be substituted with 3 years culinary experience. Strong leadership skills are a must. Must provide a copy of valid ServeSafe certificate. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
