Since 1986, the Napa Farmers Market has been building community around food.
We are a nonprofit organization on a mission to support local farmers and provide a place for the community to purchase local, farm-fresh, sustainably grown produce, specialty foods and artisan goods directly from the source
The Napa Farmers Market is open Saturday year-round and Tuesday April through September from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Every market day, farmers, specialty food vendors, artisans, and customers come together to shop, listen to live music, taste Harvest of the Month produce samples, and catch up with old friends.
Our Community's Market
To make shopping at the Napa Farmers Market affordable for low-income households, we offer the CalFresh Market Match program. Market Match doubles CalFresh (“food stamp”) benefits dollar-for-dollar, doubling low-income shoppers’ budgets to purchase healthy, fresh, sustainably grown produce directly from the farmers.
In six years, our CalFresh Market Match program has grown from $500 to more than $18,000. This means that in 2018, CalFresh families were able to purchase more than $36,000 in eligible items, including fresh fruits and vegetables, thanks in large part to donations from our community.
